Q. 1. Why should I hire you?
Ans. “I have all the skills that is required by your company. As you know honesty is the best policy I will be always honest in my work. I may not be good in few things but I will make sure that I will overcome that faults. I will give best of what I have for the betterment of your company.”

Q. 2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Ans.  “My strengths are honesty, sincere, responsible, and I am confident. My weaknesses are I am straight forward and I am little bit emotional.”
Q.3. Why do you want to work at our company?

Ans. “Sir, it is a great privilege for anyone to work for reputed company like yours, when reading about your company, I found that my skills are matching with your requirement. Where I can show my skills and contribute the company growth.”

Q.4. How do you feel about working nights and weekends?
Ans. “Sir, I don't think working nights and weekends are not good for my mental and physical health. But if the company needs my presence at nights and weekends for its growth and success I will definitely work for it.”

Q. 5. How long would you expect to work for us if hired?
Ans. Fresher – “Sir I would like to start my professional carrier in a reputed company like yours. So that is no chance for quitting.”
Experienced – “I believe that this company has the capacity to offer me a best satisfying career, and I would like to remain employed here for as long as my services are needed to the company.”


Q. 6. Explain how would be an asset to this organization?
Ans. “Sir, with all respect, I am not going to present myself as being the perfect candidate for your organization, because we are all human beings and we are not expressions of perfection, but what I am going to tell you is that I am a passionate person who works hard to make his presence worth. I am sure there might be things that I won't know how to accomplish, but I am eager to learn and do my best.”

Q. 7. What would you say to your boss if he is crazy about an idea, but you think it stinks?
Ans. “All employees are hired with the same aim of Company growth and progress so as Managers. And if I feel that idea is not suitable for the situation, I will let him know the gaps in the idea and will share my idea with the positive inputs which can eventually fill the gaps in the idea shared by him and with the mutual understanding the final idea will be created by both of us.”

Q. 8. Tell me something about our company.
Ans. “What I feel about Your company is that it have excellent work culture, provides good platform and also have good reputation in the Industry. I want to work for such company to shape up my career and also want to utilise my potential & skill for the oraganisational.” Growth.

Q. 9. How much salary do you expect?
Ans. Experience: “Being an experienced person its depends on companies norms and standards and as per my designation and my qualification and experience which can help me to maintain the standard of level of my personal and economical needs.”
Fresher: “I think salary should be suitable for my basic needs & I am not expecting more but as your company standards and the job position deserves.”

Ques. 10. Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Ans. “After 5 years, I see myself as good as of now in terms of my skills and thinking capabilities, where I want to be more challenged than previous years & getting respectable position because of my work & dedication.”

Dressing:
  • Conservative two-piece business suit (solid dark blue or grey is best)

  • Well-groomed hairstyle
  • Clean, trimmed fingernails
  • Minimal cologne or perfume
  • Empty pockets--no bulges or tinkling coins
  • No gum, candy or cigarettes
  • Light briefcase or portfolio case
  • No visible body piercing (nose rings, eyebrow rings, etc)

First Impression:
  • Arrive 15 minutes before time
  • Make a good entrance.
  • Good Body language - handshake, posture, eye contact.
  • Smile

  • Be yourself
  • Be honest
  • Be prepared to talk - but not too much
