APTET Examination Centers:
  • The APTET 2018 will be conducted ‘ONLINE’ in the 13 districts will be held from 17.01.2018 to 27.01.2018.

About Organization:

Government of Andhra Pradesh School Education Department conducts for those candidates who intend to search for employment as a teacher in School of Andhra Pradesh. Every year Government of Andhra Pradesh performs various exams in this state in which APTET also included and it is also known as Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, which is an eligibility test arranged by this state government. On the basis of this exam skilled candidates are selected for various state government teachers’ jobs.

Applicants must have their hall ticket with them before going to written exam as it is very essential Identity Proof. Candidates must take with them any other photo ID proof as voter card or Pan Card. Without Call letter, any applier will not be eligible to enter in examination hall. So candidates must ensure that they have all the essential particulars to enter examination hall.

Weightage to APTET scores in selection of Teacher Recruitment:
  • A 20% Weightage to AP TET Marks will be given in Teacher Recruitment of State Government; balance 80% weightage will be provided for Written Test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) based on which APTET Merit List will be made.
  • Still, mere qualifying the TET will not confer a right on any person for selection/ employment as it is only one of eligibility criteria for Teacher appointment.
