IBPS exam includes 5 sections namely Maths, English, General awareness, Computer knowledge and Professional knowledge. Section I- Maths
  • To clear Maths section, you need to Practice regularly for at least 1-2 hours daily. Always start with basic of the syllabus as mostly questions come from basic Part.
  • Majority of questions come from the topics like algebra, geometry. Therefore candidate must prepare all these topics well during their preparation.

Section II- English
  • Questions in English section generally come from reading comprehension, grammar, tenses and critical reasoning.  
  • Students need a regular Practice to score good marks in reading comprehension. You should Practice at least one comprehension daily to gain full marks in reading Comprehension.
  • Questions from paragraph jumbling, correct usage of words and grammar are easy and scoring so prepare them in beginning.
  • The reasoning questions in English section are also simple and scoring. Students must have good command over their vocabulary to crack English section. You can improve your vocabulary by reading newspaper and magazine.

Section III- Reasoning
  • Reasoning is one of the most scoring subjects in exam. Each question in reasoning can be solved by using simple logic and common sense.
  • You should prepare those topics initially which you find easy to understand and are important from examination point of view.
  • By doing some little practice about different types of questions candidate can easily solve 75% of questions correctly and score well in reasoning exam.
  • It is also advisable to attempt maths and reasoning section in the beginning, because both these sections are based on logical computation and simple calculation.

Section IV-General Awareness

Section V-Computer and Professional Knowledge
  • To clear this section, the candidate must check out the topics in the syllabus and revised their concepts well. The topics are more theoretical and required learning of facts, figure and data.
