UGC NET Offline Form Submission Process

Candidates, who are going to apply for UGC NET for upcoming session, must have the complete knowledge of its Submission Process, as UGC NET offline form is not accepted now. Its submission process has completely changed into online mode. Now candidates are required to fill the National Eligibility Test through online process, which is well structured here.

How to apply for UGC-NET Exam Online

Interested candidates who want to appear in University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test they may apply online through UGC NET Official portal according to the directions given there.

Before applying Online, candidates are advised to go through detailed notification to ensure their eligibility and must possess the Scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format of less than 300 kb.

The application form can be filled by following 4 easy steps:

Step 1
  • Candidates are required to visit the official website www.cbsenet.nic.in and then press on apply online button which will direct to the Application form for NET.
  • Applicants should enter all details in Online Application Form without leaving any field blank and also essential to choose password and security question and enter his/her Answer.
  • After successful submission of all the information, Roll number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form.
Step 2

After completion of the form, applicants are required to upload the scanned passport size photograph of following size and format:
  • The scanned images of photograph should be in JPG format.
  • Size of the photo image must be 300 kb.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) * 4.5 cm (Height) only
Step 3

Once the photograph is uploaded, the examination fee needs to be compensated by bank Challan form:
  • After filling all the information for applying online for NET, the computer will instantly generate your ‘Bank Challan’ showing your information along with amount to be compensated.
  • The applicants have to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest branch of the bank for making payment.
  • After the verification of fee deposited from Bank/CBSE, the applicant will be able to print the Filled Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card.
Step 4
  • Finally, after the payment of the fee, Attendance slip and Admit card can be downloadable. All the documents detailed below must be sent to Registrar/Principal of the Coordinating Institute.
  • Take the Printout of filled Application, attach passport size photographs picture in the area offered, put your signatures at the needed locations and send/deposit to Registrar/Principal of the Managing Institution.
  • Copy of the Bank eChallan (Coordinating Institution copy), if fee compensated through eChallan
  • Attendance Slip properly finalized with photograph (One copy).
  • Attested copies of SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PWD)/OBC (Non creamy layer) accreditations, in case applicable
  • Certificate of academic qualification/research experience, in case appropriate, entitling the applicant for age pleasure, properly attested by a Gazetted Official.
