Branch
Educational Qualifications
Flying Branch
Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent have passed Math and Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech degree.
Technical Branch
Minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four year graduation / integrated post graduation Qualification in Engineering / Technology.
Ground Duty Branches
Administration
& Logistics
Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline with 60% marks or equivalent
Accounts
B. Com. degree (Minimum three year degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
Education
MBA / MCA or MA / M Sc degree in relevant fields with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate all paper put together in Post Graduation.

Age Limitation:
  • Flying Branch: Age of candidates should not be less than 20 years and not more than 24 years.
  • Technical Branch: Age of candidates should not be less than 20 and not more than 26 years.

Selection Process for AFCAT Notification:
  • Selection of the job hunters will be made on the basis of their performance in the Air Force Common Admission Test and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) (applicable only for candidates applying for technical branch).
  • Those applicants who will be short-listed on the basis of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT/EKT) will be called for further testing.

  • After that must select the “CANDIDATE LOGIN” link from the career website of IAF

  • Then fill AFCAT Application Form with complete details then must upload the scanned documents / certificates, passport size photograph, signature with the form
  • Upload your recent color passport size photograph (size 10 to 50 KB) with your online application form.
