AIIMS Counselling 2017: All India Institute of Medical Sciences has released the revised dates for the AIIMS Counselling.
Earlier the counselling was scheduled on 24.02.2017 but now the open counselling for Latest PG Exam [MD/MS/M.Ch. (6Years)/MDS] Courses at A.I.I.M.S. for Jan session has been rescheduled on 21.02.2017 at 8:30. The rescheduling is done due to Gazetted Holiday. After 2nd Counseling the commission has decided to conduct this open counselling to give the talented aspirants a second chance. the candidates who want to attend the session are advised to fill up the registration forms via online mode. the last date for the candidates to do the same is 16.02.2017.

Procedure of registration for open Counselling:
  • Aspirants who want to attend the open counseling on the scheduled date are required to register themselves through online mode on the AIIMS website i.e.
  • The starting date for the online registration is 16.02.2017 at 10:00 am and The closing date for the online registration is 19.02.2017 at 5:00 PM
  • On the day of counseling they will have to produce printout of the slip issued to them at the time of online registration for open counseling along with all original certificates of qualification.

Candidates will not be able to attend open counseling without the production of printout of registration slip issued for open counseling at the time of online registration.

What are the documents that are required at the time of Counselling?
  • No of original certificates that the aspirants have to carry along with them at the time of counseling are:
  • Date of birth (matriculation certificate),
  • Proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC (if applicable),
  • MBBS/BDS mark sheets (including separate mark sheet for each of the professional examinations),
  • Degree,
  • Internship Completion Certificate,
  • Permanent Medical Registration Certificate etc

Note: (Any resignation request received with the penalty amount by way of demand draft will be deemed to be resignation and the seat thus vacated will be included in Open Counseling).
