CTET September 2016: Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi is going to conduct CTET September 2015 Exam, which is 8th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Board conduct this exam for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. Educational Qualification:

Candidates having following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET.

For I-V (Primary Stage)

Candidates must have Senior Secondary with at least 50% or 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education / Education or in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). “or” OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.

For VI- VIII (Elementary Stage)

Applicants should have Graduation with at least 50% or 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). “or” Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed/ B.El.Ed.

Only Paper I-II
Both Paper- I & II

SC / ST / Differently Abled Person

Mode of Payment:

Fee can be remitted in the following ways: 
  • Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. 
  • By Debit/Credit Card
Selection Process:

Selection of appliers will be based on marks obtained in Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

Pattern Of Examination
  • CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s). There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET.
  • Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
  • A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

How to Apply?
  • Candidates who are interested to apply they need to fill online application form through the official website that is ctet.nic.in
  • After fill all the mandatory details in the application form must upload the required documents scanned photograph and signature with the form
  • Pay the application fee by debit card, credit card, net banking) or offline (Challan)
  • Update fee details on CTET website if payment made through Challan of Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank.
  • After then submit the form and take a print out of form for further use.

Instruction of Photocopy and Signature:
  • Photocopy size must be greater than 4 KB and less than 100 KB.
  • Photocopy dimension should be 3.5 cm (width) × 4.5 cm (height) only.
  • The Signature size must be greater than 1 KB and less than 25 KB.
  • Signature size should be 3.5 cm (length) × 1.5 cm (height) only.
  • The scanned images should be only in .JPG format.
