• MAT examination is conducted in both the online as well as offline that is Paper Based Test or Computer Based Test.
• Applicants may select any one of the mode in both the type of examination there will be 200 questions.
• There are five sections and each section will carry 40 marks.
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There is Negative Marking also for every wrong answer ¼ marks is deducted.
• The question paper will consist of the five sections mainly language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.

Every Year All India Management Association conducts MAT 4 times and there are no limits to individual attempts, so you can appear for MAT four times in a year i.e. in the month of MAY, September, December and February on the 1st Sunday of the Month.

MAT Exam Pattern

MAT entrance test consists of 5 parts / sections, each section includes 40 questioning from the following topics in table and there is total 200 questions (1 mark each), which should be attempted by the candidates within 150 minutes. The examination Syllabus is given below –

What Mode Should I Select for MAT?

Applicants who are going to appear in the Examination may check the difference between both the Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test:
• Offline Mode: All the appearing Candidate need to bring Pen, HB-Pencils, Erasers and Sharper with him/her on the examination day at respective exam center which is generally offered on a single day to all candidates.
• Online Mode: In this mode candidate sits in front of a computer and the questions are presented on the computer monitor and the candidate submits the answers through the use of keyboard or mouse. Each computer is connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer.

Things to Keep In Mind:

In Computer Based Test it is the responsibility of the candidate to have complete knowledge of keyboard and mouse operation before appearing in the test and AIMA is not responsible for the same.

How to get MAT Admit Card & MAT Score Card?

All the applied candidates may get their Exam Hall Ticket two weeks before their examination from its Official Web portal which contain all the information such as students roll no, name, exam centre, paper timing etc.

During the last week of the month of the test MAT Score Card are upload on AIMA Official website. Appeared candidates can download his/her score card with his 6 digits Registration Form Number and 9 digits Roll NO from Official Website.

Crack Your MAT Examination in First Attempt:
• All the candidates who had applied for MAT are advised to prepare accordingly to MAT Syllabus and should not leave any topic for the last moment.
• The candidates can make the short notes and can revise them for the better preparation.
• The candidates can also prepare from the previous year mock papers.
