Union Public Service Commission conducts various exams every year. This year also UPSC is going to conduct NDA & NA 1, 2 exams. So candidates who are preparing to appear for the exam shall also download NDA Exam Pattern from the official website that is upsc.gov.in. Candidates before appearing must check this exam pattern to prepare for the exam according to it and score good marks. NDA Exam Pattern

Time Duration: The duration for National Defence Academy Examination is 5 hours, of which 2 hours and 30 minutes for each of two papers.

Mode of Paper: National Defence Academy Examination exam will be conducted in pen and paper based mode.

Marks Distribution: The written exam is of a total of 900 marks; where Mathematics paper contains 300 marks and General Ability Test consist of 600 marks. 

Medium of Paper: You can conduct the exam in both the language as per your choices. The papers will consist of objective type questions and the questions papers (Maths & General Ability) will be set in English and Hindi both languages.

Marking Scheme: There will be negative marking with a penalty of one third marks allotted to question for which wrong answers is marked by aspirants.

Candidates, who are preparing for this examination, must know about latest and updated exam pattern of NDA. You can get score good to prepare according to latest exam pattern. There will be 270 multiple choice questions, 120 questions in Mathematics and 150 questions in General Ability Test. Each paper will be of 150 minutes. Both papers will be of 900 marks as given in table:

NDA Interview Pattern – Intelligence and Physical Test

Candidates after qualifying written examination then will be called for Intelligence and Physical Test. Details regarding Interview will be uploaded on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in & www.joinindiannavy.gov.in & www.careerairforce.nic.in, candidates may lo0g in to these official websites to grab more details. Service selection board (SSB) will set the exam pattern for NDA. The SSB program consists of two stage recruitment procedure that is stage I and stage II. Those candidates who qualify stage I then will be called for stage II. The Selection Process for NDA Exam is as follows:

Stage I consist of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Observation Description Test (PP&DT). Those candidates will be shortlisted who give mixture of execution in both tests.
Stage II consists of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. The entire test will last for more than four days. Candidates may get more information on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Three unique assessors will survey the identity of a person viz. The Interviewing Officer (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Clinician. The marks are assigned by assessors when mulling over the execution of the hopeful comprehensively in the entire test. These surveys are to be held to check the eligibility, capability, confidence of the applier. All exams have the same weight in UPSC 2017 NDA exam pattern.
