### NDA Syllabus

Candidates are selected for Indian Armed Forces (Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy) as officers with the help of National Defence Academy which is a leading institute of training. Those candidates want to get admission in this academy they may move towards by qualifying a national level entrance examination (NDA) which is structured by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Candidates, who are going to appear in NDA examination they must know that Out of maximum marks assigned to part ‘B’ of this paper, questions on Sections A, B, C, D, E and F will carry approximately 25%, 15%, 10%, 20%, 20% and 10% weightages in that order.

UPSC NDA exam Syllabus for Intelligence and Personality Test:
• All these tests are intended to judge the mental calibre of a candidate.
• In addition to the interview, the candidates will be put to Intelligence Tests both verbal and non-verbal, designed to assess their basic intelligence.
• They will also be put to Group Tests such as group discussions, group planning, outdoor group tasks, and asked to give brief lectures on specified subjects.
• In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only his intellectual qualities but also his social traits and interests in current affairs.

National Defence Academy and Naval Academy examination is conducted twice in a year as prelims and mains. NDA NA exam conducts with the intention to recruit the well eligible candidates for Army, Navy and Air Force. Aspirants who will qualify both written examination will undergo for the interview round. After successfully clearing the whole selection round applicants will get appointed for the respective post.
