SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern:
  • The Preliminary examination is an objective type examination
  • Applicants need to select one correct option out of given four options.
  • The total mark of the exam is 100.
  • The candidates would get 1 mark for each correct answer
  • and for every wrong answer ¼ mark will be deducted
  • However no mark will be deducted for any response
  • The test would be conducted online
  • The total time allotted is 60 minutes.

Descriptive Test:
  • Along with the objective type question, the Main Exam will also have descriptive type questions as well. Following are the important points to ponder for the written examination:
  • The Descriptive section will carry 50 marks and would also be an online test.
  • The test duration would be 60 minutes. So, the total timing for the MAIN Exam would be 3 hours.
  • This test has been taken to monitor the writing skills of the aspirants where the focal point would be on letter writing, comprehension and essay.
