How To Download Civil Services Mains Admit Card

Applicants who are going to appear for the Indian Administrative Service Examination  must download Union Public Service Commission IAS Admit Card by following the below provided guidelines-
  • To download UPSC Civil Services Mains Admit Card at the beginning, candidates are required to visit the official site of the organization that is upsc.gov.in.
  • Now dropdown the home page and hit on “Admit cards” link given at the right side.
  • After this, new page will be displayed where you must choose “E-Admit Cards for various Examinations of UPSC” link.
  • You will be redirect to the new page where you need to follow “Civil Services (mains) Examination, 2017” and hit on “click here” link.
  • This will open a PDF file containing some instructions regarding exam and UPSC IAS Admit Card, read it carefully and hit on “yes” tab
  • Thereafter new page will be displayed from which you have to choose either “By Registration ID” or “By Roll No.” tab.

Get Step Wise ProcedureHow to Download Admit Card/Hall Ticket

Download UPSC civil services Mains exam admit card “By Registration ID”.
  • Select the appropriate tab of “By Registration ID”.
  • Now you are required to enter the required details in the test box as asked.
  • Now fill up valid registration ID, date of birth or Captcha and then hit on “submit” button.
  • Within a minute UPSC IAS exam Admit Card will be appeared on the screen save it or download for further use.
If you want to download UPSC Indian Administrative Services admit card “By Roll No.”
  • Now switch on to “By roll no.” tab.
  • After this, text box will be appeared on the screen you need to fill up details as required.
  • Applicants must fill up relevant details such as roll number date of birth or captch and then submit it.
  • After few seconds, Indian Administrative Services Mains admit card will be appeared on the screen.
  • Lastly, participants need to download or save the UPSC Civil Services Mains Admit Card and then take out the print of Indian Administrative Services hall ticket to appear in the exam.

UPSC IAS Mains Exam Instructions:
  • Check your admit card carefully before taking hard copy of it.
  • Take your admit card with yourself at the time of exam
  • Candidate before commencement of exam should enter into examination hall before 20 minutes
  • There is negative marking for all incorrect answer, so candidates are advised to read the question paper carefully
  • Candidate should attempt this exam with blue/black ball point pen
  • Candidate whose photograph is not clear on his/hr admit card shall have to bring any other proof of identity
  • Any gadgets such as phones/calculators/earphones/Bluetooth etc are not permitted to enter into examination hall
  • Candidate shall always read Special Instructions mentioned on the Notice Board outside the examination hall
  • Any type of omission/mistake in filling the OMR sheet will take your sheet in rejection list, so candidate is liable for any discrepancy.
