JNU Exam Pattern:

PhD
The PhD entrance test for candidates appearing for JNU 2017 is to evaluate the awareness of a candidate in the particular specialized area of his/her interest.
The written test consists of analytical and critical appraisal type questions.
M.SC
Candidates have to go through the topics of physics, physical chemistry and mathematics of B.Sc level.
The test will consist of objective type questions.
MCA
Questions will be of objective types and will consist of questions related to Computer application and information technology.
M.Tech
All questions will be of multiple choice types.
The question paper will be divided into two parts.
The first part will consist of questions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology and the second part will consist of questions in following specialization of Biology and Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/ Statistics, Engineering Sciences.
M.A
Candidates will be examined in the subjects and specialization in the standard B.A course.
BA (Honors)
This general aptitude test will consist of objective type questions and short answers. 
The entrance test for BA (Honors) Foreign Languages will consist of sections of General Knowledge, General English and Elementary Knowledge.


How to fill JNU Online Application Form?
  1. Candidates who are willing to get admission in this university first of all they need to visit official website of university that is www.jnu.ac.in
  2. After that on the next page aspirants are required to choose ‘JNU Entrance Exam 2017’ that is available under admission section visible in menu bar on the home page.
  3. Thereafter on the next page appliers have to select ‘new registration / candidate login’ link and register yourself for entrance examination.
  4. After successful registration applicants have to fill online application form with all correct details like Name, DOB, and Address etc.
  5. Now applicants need to choose your password 8 characters and login with it and fill online application form with all required and mandatory details.
  6. Contenders have to upload a recent scanned photograph (20-50 KB) and signature (10-20 kb) at the time of filling application form.
  7. Once the application form is being filled completely candidates must recheck your information carefully and hit on submit tab.
  8. Lastly, applicants should take a printout of submitted application form for further reference.
