IAS Officers Salary Per Month:

A rough evaluation of total remuneration earned by an IAS officer has been made, keeping all the components of IAS Remuneration in view:
  • Basic Pay- INR 23,640
  • HRA (at 30 percent)- INR 7,092
  • D.A (at 65 percent) – INR 15,366
  • T.A- INR 5280
Therefore, the total average pay scale stands at INR 51,378. It however, remains variable with time. Considering the detail that his basic pay is likely to go up by 3% annually and DA by 10 to 14 percent, an officer can anticipate to earn double after every 7 to 9 years in service.
