UPSC Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
For Indian Administrative Services & Indian Police
Services candidate must be a citizen of India.
For other services, candidate must be either:
1.
a citizen of India, or
2.
a subject of Nepal, or
3.
a subject of Bhutan, or
4.
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before
1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from
Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United
Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the
intention of permanently settling in India.

CDS Eligibility Criteria:
CDS Educational Qualification: Interested candidates
must hold Graduate Degree from any discipline with good academic records from a
recognized university/ institute. Appearing candidates in final year can also
apply.
Age Limit: Age of candidates should not be less than
21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August of the year of
examination. The upper age is limit relaxed of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5
years for SC/ST candidates.
Number of attempts: The number of attempts is 4 for
General candidates under the creamy layer, seven attempts for OBC candidates
and no limit for SC/ST candidates.
IAS Eligibility Criteria:
IAS Educational Qualification: Interested candidates
should possess Bachelor’s Degree from any discipline from a recognized
university. Appearing candidates in final year can also apply.
Age Restriction: Age of candidates should not be
less than 21 years and not more than 32 years as on 1st August of the year
of examination. The upper age is limit relaxed of 3 years for OBC candidates
and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
IAS Attempt: The General candidates can attempt for
6 times, OBC can do for 9 times and for SC/ST there is no limit.
NDA Eligibility Criteria:
NDA Educational Qualification: Candidates must have
completed 12th Standard in any stream. For Indian Air Force & Indian Navy
the candidates must have qualified 12th standard with Physics &
Mathematics.
Limitation of Age: The candidates must have aged
between 16 to 19 years.
No of Attempt: No Restriction. There is no limit on
the number of attempts.
IFS Eligibility Criteria:
IFS Educational Qualification: Candidate should hold
a Graduate Degree from any of the recognized universities or must have an
equivalent qualification
Limitation of Age: Age of candidates should not be
less than 21 years and not more than 30 years
No of Attempt: The maximum number of attempts is as
follows:
General Category Candidates: 4 attempts
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates: No
restriction
Other Backward Class candidates: 7 attempts
CMS Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Needed: Candidates must possess a MBBS
Degree. The candidates in their final year of degree may also apply provided
they supply the required documents at the time of appointment.
Limitation of Age: Minimum age of candidates should
be 20 years and maximum age should be 30 years. Relaxation in age will be given
as per the norms of organization.
ESE Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess
B.E. / B.Tech /from a recognized university/ institute with good academic
records.
Age Limit: The candidates must have aged between 21
to 30 years as on 1st August of the examination year. The relaxation in
upper age limit is 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
No. of Attempts: The General candidates can attempt
for 4 times, OBC can do for 7 times and for SC/ST there is no limit.
Indian Economic Service Exam
IES/ISS Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an
Act of Central or State Legislature in India or any other Educational Institute.
Candidates also have M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless
Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as mandatory
subjects.
Age limitation: Age of the
applying candidates must be between 21-30 years. Calculation of age will be
considered from 1st January of present year. Age relaxation to reserved
categories will be as per the organization norms.
SO/Steno Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Graduation
/Post Graduation degree in relevant discipline from any well recognized
University or Institution.
Age Criteria: age of the
candidates applying against Section officer notification shall be as per the
norms of organization and age relaxation to reserved categories/female
candidates/PWD candidates/Ex-Servicemen will be as per the guidelines of Government
of India.
CAPF Eligibility Criteria:
Gender: Both male and female
candidates are valid to apply for CAPF Exam.
Qualification Requirement:
Candidate should possess Graduation degree from recognized university approved
by UGC and AICTE.
Age structure: the maximum and
minimum age of the candidates must be 20 years and 25 years. Age relaxation to
SC/ST category and Ex- Serviceman will be 05 years. OBC category candidates
will get 03 years relaxation in age and 05 years relaxation will be given to
candidates who has been ordinarily been domicile in Jammu & Kashmir.
Physical Standards: candidates must be
physically and mentally fit for the particular post. Following is the physical
