Here I am beginning my IBM Interview Experience; first of
all the process of telephonic Interview took place. The Phone interview has
played a very crucial role in my pre-hiring process.
Candidates must know about the company in which they are
going to give the interview. So let me give you a glance of International
Business Machines “International Business Machines Company is well known as
IBM. It is one of the best in information technology (IT) and software
applications in the world. It is one of the leading IT employers in the world.
It is also known to offer work friendly measures.”
Interviewer: Introduce yourself?
Me: I replied to this answer that I have completed my academics
from St Mary’s Academy and thereafter I pursued my BCA Degree from DAV College,
Interviewer: Why should we invite you for an on-site
Me: I really believe that I can contribute to the success of
IBM Company and my personal skills and values match the
post perfectly. When we meet in person, I think you’ll clearly see that
I’m a good fit for the company.
Interviewer: Please give an example of how you overcame
a stressful situation.
Being well-organized is the best way for me to reduce this
situation. I have a to-do list, so that I can schedule my tasks well. If it
still occurs when I do my tasks, I keep calm and take deep breath. I usually
tell myself, "Take it easy". Everything is in controlled.
Interviewer: What makes you angry?
Me: If I'm the reason in any inconvenience or I became
the problem for the failure of the work. I feel angry on myself and will try to
overcome it by doing the best by working till the end. It cheers me.
Interviewer: What are your outside interests?
My outside interest includes travelling that's for the
reason that I love to travel around new places, learn from diverse cultures, to
know people better. I also happen to have eager interest in playing outdoor
games and in leisure time doing.
My Phonic Interview Got finished here and Interviewer says
me that we will mail you for further round. Thereafter next day I checked my
mail that I have onsite interview in IBM. When I reached at 9:00 the process of documents verification
was going on and many candidates were sitting there for an Interview.
When I took an entry in the interview room I was quiet
nervous, I wish everyone Good morning. There are total five members in the
interview room, three are male and two are female.
M3: Have a seat Isha and with this they started my interview,
Me: I replied about myself, my qualification, long term
and short term goals in detailed.
F1: What do you know about IBM?
Me: This is similar in some ways to the previous
question, but is designed to test how much research I’ve done and how well I
understand the company. There are no shortcuts with this one; the only way I
can really answer it is if I’ve actually done research.
M2: Tell me about the most interesting project you have done
Me: The purpose of this question is to find out about
what I have makes, so I stuck to the facts about what the project involved,
what I did, and what I learned.
F1: Tell me your strength?
Me: I always try to find answer from the cause of any
difficulty faced my motto is to think optimistic all the time and be truthful
to my work.
M3: Any one weak point?
Me: Even if I know each of my weak spot, I cannot
entirely get liberate of them" and this is one my most horrible
M1: Do you have any questions for me?
Me: Thank you sir for giving me this chance. Tell me
one thing from your practice sir, in what all area one need to get better so
that one can stay constant in their job & achieve superior position in a
software company like yours.
When my meeting got complete, I took a deep breath and
