How to Check CBSE UGC NET Result?

Candidates can go through the below provided process to check their result within minutes:
  • Participants need to visit the official website of   Central Board of Secondary Education that is
  • Now, press on the “CBSE - UGC NET EXAMINATION” tab which is available on the homepage.
  • A page will open where candidates need to fill required details like roll number, date of birth.
  • At last hit on the “Submit” button.
  • Now, a PDF file will be opened on your computer screen.
  • Applicants can save the file and take a print out of the result for future use.

Interesting facts about UGC NET:

The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India was established on 1956. The head quarter of UGC is placed in New Delhi. UGC has six territorial centers which are Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Pune

Every year large number of students appears in NET examination. The exam is conducted in the month of June / July and in November/ December. This year, exam is going to be held on 22nd January 2017 in all over the India. UGC is going to conduct this exam for the appointment of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and Assistant Professors. Students who will obtain marks more than UGC NET cut off marks will be declared as qualified. CBSE UGC NET Cut Off (Previous Exam):

Candidates can get an idea for CBSE UGC NET Cut Off by verifying the cut off marks of previous exam. The exam was held in three papers which are paper-I, paper-II and paper-III. The cut-off marks and the percentage for each paper according to the category are provided below.

Those candidates who will qualified the UGC NET qualification marks, a merit list will be prepared according to the category-wise and subject-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such students. 
  • The students who have scored 15% candidates for each subject-wise and category, a merit list will be declared NET qualified for the post of Assistant Professor only.
  • For the post of Junior Research Fellows, a separate merit list will be prepared.

How to get CBSE OMR sheet for Answer Verification:
  • The Board has decided to provide photocopy of the Calculation and OMR Sheet for the participants of UGC NET. To get OMR Sheet and Calculation sheet applicants can read the instruction which are mentioned below:
  • The students have to pay fee of Rs. 500/- to obtain their photocopy of OMR sheet along with Calculation Sheet on or before the last date.
  • Candidates who have already applied under RTI Act 2005 or otherwise they can apply afresh for the same along with fee of Rs. 500/- before the stipulated date.
  • You can submit the fee to the office through Demand Draft in favor of Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi/New Delhi issued by any scheduled bank.
  • Students should mention their Roll No, Name and Address in their application. The Name and Roll Number should be mentioned on the backside of the Demand Draft.
  • OMR Sheet and Calculation Sheet will not be provided to any institute or school for display.
  • The application should be submitted on the behalf of the student.
  • The photocopy of the OMR Sheet and Calculation Sheet will be provided by speed post only.
