JEE Main Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidate must have passed in final examination of Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination to fill JEE Main Application Form. Those appearing in these examinations in 2018 can also appear in JEE (Advanced) - 2017 provisionally.
  • Students DOB should fall on or after 1st October, 1993 (for general candidates) and 1st October 1988 (for SC, ST and PwD candidates).
  • To qualify for Admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs and other CFTIs, students have to secure at least 70% in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination.

Mode to pay JEE Main Application Fee:

The fee may be paid either by credit card/debit card/e-wallet (SBI Buddy/Paytm) or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the JEE Main Application Form.

JEE Main Admission Procedure:

Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).

To get admission in to B.E./B.Tech courses, candidates will have to qualify JEE Paper-1. Paper 1 will be offline (PBT) as well as online (CBT).

In JEE paper-1, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects are included in which 30 questions will be asked from each subject with total of 90 questions

JEE Main Paper 2 Pattern: 
  • JEE Main Paper-2 will be conducted for those candidates who want to get admitted into B.Arch/ B.Planning courses.
  • The exam mode for this paper will be offline (PBT) mode only.
  • In JEE Main Paper-2 will be of 360 marks out of which  30 questions of Mathematics (Part-1), 50 questions of aptitude test (Part-2) and 2 questions of drawing comprising.

Process to fill JEE Main Online Application Form:
  • Candidates can fill JEE Main Application Form by visiting the official site of association that is jeemain.nic.in.
  • Firstly Download information bulletin by pressing JEE Main Boucher 2018 and read it carefully to ensure your eligibility.
  • Now Follow and press and JEE Main Login..
  • All the Indian citizen candidates should possess AADHAAR card issued by UIDAI.
  • At the time of filling application form of JEE (Main)–2018, the candidates will have to enter their AADHAAR number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data.
  • Fill JEE Main Online Application Form carefully and correctly without any mistakes.
  • Upload Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression
  • Pay Examination Fee by Debit/Credit card or e-challan (generated after submission of details in online application form).
  • Candidates are required to take a print out of computer generated acknowledgment slip after successful submission of data and payment of fee for future reference.

  • Scanned left thumb impression for both boys and girls on a white sheet in a box of 3.5 x 1.5 cm dimension Image should be in JPEG format with size between 1 KB to 30 KB.
