  • Letter/ Application writing is a part of SSC CHSL Paper 2 Syllabus.  Properly learn the format of letter writing- for both formal and informal letters.
  • Learn grammar rules properly and take care of tenses. Try to use attractive words and start with a catchy line.
For Essay writing: SC CHSL Syllabus 2018:
  • Your essay should contain 3 parts.
  • The first introduction to the topic, second the body and third the conclusion.

SSC CHSL Tier II Exam Pattern

For tier 2 examination, a descriptive test will be carried out which will be conducted offline. It is a 100 marks paper where you need to score at least 33% to qualify.

SSC CHSL Tier III Syllabus
  • There will be a skill or typing test in SSC Combined higher secondary level Tier III exam. In this, the authority checks the skill and typing speed of the qualified aspirants.
  • Then the final selection will be done on the basis of Staff Selection Commission CHSL Tier III results.
Skill Test for Data Entry Operator:
  • Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer
  • The ‘Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on Computer’ will be considered on the basis of correct entry of words/key depressions as per the given passage.
  • Duration of the said Test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes and printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 strokes/key-depressions will be given to you to enter in the Computer.
  • The “Data Entry Speed” Skill Test would be of qualifying nature.

Typing Test for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDCs and Court Clerks:
  • This test will be conducted for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDCs and Court Clerks. Those candidates who will qualify the Computer based Written Examination (Tier-I) and Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) may appear for Typing Test.

Focus one subject at one time
