NSTSE Exam Pattern 2018:
  • Different Question Papers will be set for each class.
  • All the questions will be objective type and no negative marking will be applicable for any wrong answer.
  • Total time duration of test for all classes will be 90 minutes.

NSTSE Class 1st To 12th Exam Scheme:

This exam will be based on CBSE syllabus. 85% of the Syllabus considered for setting Question Paper. Students of ICSE/ISC and different State Board/Matriculation syllabus is also fit for the National Science Talent Search Examination Question Papers. National Science Talent Search Examination syllabus will be according to CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) with more than 85% of questions raised from it.

NSTSE Exam Structure 2018:

National Science Talent Search Examination will be organized in Two Levels.
  • First Level: In this level the exam will be organized in the selected test centers for all the students.
  • Second Level: This level of examination will be organized only for Top-500 students (Class 2-12) across country. Top-20 students from each class will be called out in the nearest chosen State Head Quarters/Main Towns
Note: For Class-1 students, there will be single level exam of NSTSE.
