Qualification Requirement:
  • For Upper Division Clerk: Contenders must hold Graduate from a recognized University/ Institute with Minimum 2 years experience in office of Govt /Private and Knowledge of Drafting & Clerical work & Knowledge of shorthand & typing is desirable.
  • For Driver: Applicants must have completed Matriculation from recognized Board with good academic records. Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence and Experience on passenger bus driving is desirable.
  • For Lower Division Clerk: Contenders must have done 12th Standard with typing speed 40 words per minute. Knowledge of shorthand, computer and ability to correspond in English will be considered as additional qualification is desirable.

Age Limitation:

Age of candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 50 years as on 01.06.2017. Relaxation in age will be given to the reserved categories candidates as per the norms of association.

Perks / Benefits and Allowances:

For UDC & Driver:
  • Along with DA at Central Govt. rates, incumbent are permitted to rent free accommodation as available/HRA.
  • LTC, NPS (New Pension Scheme), gratuity etc. and promoted education for two children for all regular staff, subject to fulfilling minimum qualification
  • Other perks and allowances will be given as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations as revised from time to time for post on regular basis.
For Lower Division Clerk:
  • Rent free accommodation as available in the school campus.
  • In calculation Gratuity, New Pension Scheme (NPS), LTC, Bonus, Group Insurance, Medical and Transport Allowance as per Central Govt Rules, promoted schooling for two children
  • Post is regular but will be made permanent on successful completion of probationary period of 02 years and is transferable with all India liability.

Application Fee:
  • For UDC & Driver: Candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs. 500/- (Non-refundable) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Principal, Sainik School, Kunjpura” payable at Kunjpura.
  • For Lower Division Clerk: Candidates (General Category) need to pay application fee of Rs. 300/- and other SC/ ST Category need to pay fee of Rs. 150/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘PRINCIPAL, SAINIK SCHOOL, AMARAVATHINAGAR’ payable at SBI, Amaravathinagar (Code 2191).
Process of Selection:
  • Interested contenders will be called for Screen Test. Short listed candidates will be called for Written, Practical Test & Interview for UDC & Driver Posts. No TA/ DA will be admissible for any Test & Interview.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test and Interview for Lower Division Clerk Post.
