SBI PO Preliminary Exam Pattern:
  • The duration of Preliminary Exam is of 01 hour only.
  • The paper comprises 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and it carries 100 marks.
  • The sections includes English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern:
  • The duration of exam is of 3-hour-30-minute.
  • The 3-hour objective-type tests carry 200 marks
  • The descriptive test comprises English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) will be of 30 minutes with 50 marks.
  • These tests are from English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.), General Awareness, Marketing & Computers, Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation and Reasoning (High Level).

SBI PO Group Discussion & Interview:
  • Those candidates who will qualify both exams that is Preliminary and Mains Exam they will be shortlisted for Group Discussion & Interview.
  • The Phase III carries total of 50 marks. Group Discussion will be of 20 marks and Interview will be of 30 marks.
  • There will be deduction of exam for both preliminary and main exams, for every wrong answer marked by candidate; there will be a deduction of 1/4th of the mark allotted to that question as penalty.
  • The candidates who will qualify both Phase-II and Phase-III exam separately. Marks secured by applicants in Written Test (out of 250 marks) are changed to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Exercises & Interview (out of 50 marks) are changed to out of 25.
  • The final merit list is inwards at after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group Exercises & Interview out of 100 for each category.
  • The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.

SBI Probationary Officer Question Paper Pattern:

State Bank of India every year conducts recruitment examinations to select the capable applicants as Clerk, PO, SO and others. Huge numbers of applicants every year participates in this examination and get recruited by the Bank on reputed positions. There will be 2 Written Papers of SBI PO that is Prelims and Mains. There will be 100 Objective Questions based on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English. Applicants who will qualify the preliminary exam have to appear in mains exam.
