Karnataka CET Application Form 2017: Last Date Has Been Changed and Extended Till 08.03.2017!!! Karnataka Examination Authority has invited Karnataka CET Application Form for candidates who want to get admission to full-time Courses in field of Engineering, Pharmacy and Medical etc. Those candidates who wish to get admission to full-time courses, they need to qualify the Karnataka CET Entrance Exam first. Karnataka CET Eligibility Criteria:

For Engineering / Technology Courses:
  • Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC/12th or equivalent exam with Physics & Mathematics as a compulsory subjects and English as a language subject.
  • Aspirants must have secured 45% marks in physics & mathematics along with any one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer for general candidates and 40% marks for reserved categories.
For Pharmacy/Medical / Dental Courses:
  • Aspirants must have passed 2nd PUC/12th or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, biology and English as a language subject.
  • Students must have obtained 50% marks in PCB group for general categories and 40% marks for reserved categories.

Application Fee:

Candidates (Gen/OBC Category) need to pay application fee of Rs. 650/- and other SC/ST category need to submit fee of Rs. 500/- in the form of bank challan

Mode of Payment:
  • The application fee can be remitted through e-challan by depositing fee in any specified bank (State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Hyderabad, Indian Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India).
  • For candidates residing outside India are needed to pay the fee through DD drawn in favor of Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority payable at Bangalore.
KCET Admission:
  • Admission to above courses will be done on basis of their performance in KCET Exam.
  • For admission to Medical and Dental Courses, candidates have to appear for National Cum Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 conducted by CBSE.
  • For admission to Architecture Courses, candidates have to appear for NATA conducted by Council of Architecture.

Way to fill KCET Online Application Form:
  • To apply online candidates are required to visit the official site of Karnataka Examination Authority that is kea.kar.nic.in.
  • On home page of official site go to “Flash News” section and hit the appropriate link to apply online.
  • First read the complete notification and Press on appropriate link to register.
  • After that, must fill the Karnataka CET Application Form with complete details in correct manner.
  • Upload the scanned passport size photograph, signature and thumb impression.
  • Make payment of requisite application fee.
  • At last, press “Submit” button for the final submission of it and take a hard copy of Karnataka CET Application Form for future use.
Documents / Details Required While Filling Online Application Form:
  • Candidate’s personal and study details
  • Active Mobile Number and Valid Email ID
  • Scanned image of photograph having dimension 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm (image size should not be more than 40 KB).
  • Scanned copy of signature and left hand thumb impression with dimension 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm (image size should not be more than 40 KB).
  • Scanned image of parent’s signature or left hand thumb impression
  • All the copies of scanned images must be in .jpg/.jpeg format.
