CTET Application Form 2018: Central Board of Secondary Education has started inviting CTET Application Form 2018 from 01-08-2019 onwards. CTET Registration Process will be continued till 27-08-2018.

11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 date is not yet announced but we will update it earlier as soon as board will declare it. Students who are interested as well as eligible are required to apply online.

CBSE CTET 2018 Exam details

CTET Test will be conducted in twenty languages in 92 cities all over the country. On the basis of marks obtained in the CTET Exam 2018, aspirants will get recruited at the vacant positions of Elementary stage teacher and Primary Teacher.

CBSE CTET Application Form

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2018:

Those aspirants who are going to fill CBSE CTET Application Form 2018 must ensure all the below stated education qualification from a well recognized institute or university with good academic records

For Teacher Of Classes I-V: Primary Stage
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • 12th with minimum 45% marks or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 OR
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks or appearing in final year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • 12th or its equivalent) with 50% marks and appearing in final year of Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
  • Graduation or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary
For Teacher of Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
  • Graduation or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • Graduation with minimum 50% marks or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with NCTE Regulations issued from time to time OR
  • Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks or appearing in final year of 4year Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Passed 12th with at least 50% marks or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • Passed Graduation with at least 50% marks or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) OR
  • Candidate qualified B.Ed. Programme or pursuing any of Teacher Education Courses recognized by the NCTE specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 such candidates can appear for TET/ CTET.

Relaxation in Education According to the CTET New Notification:

Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled for filling up CTET Application Form.

CTET 2018 Application Fee:

Candidates can pay the CTET Application Form fee while submitting the CTET online Registration Form through the medium of credit card/debit card or E-Challan at Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank. Contenders are required to pay application fee for applying as given below:

CTET 2018 Selection Procedure:

As stated in the CBSE CTET notification, the CTET examination authority department will hire aspirants on the basis of their performance in the CTET Online examination. To qualify in the CTET online exam, aspirants must ensure the minimum qualifying marks of 60 % and above.

CTET Exam Pattern 2018:

As per the CTET notification, Candidates need to be appeared in two (Paper I & Paper II) according to their choice.
  • Paper I is conducted for aspirants having desire to become teacher for class I to V.
  • Paper II is organized for aspirants having desire to become teacher for class VI to VIII.
  • Aspirants interested for both are required to appear for both papers.

CTET 2018 Syllabus

One should require complete CTET 2018 Syllabus to qualify the Exam and grab concerned job vacancy.  Child Development & Pedagogy and concept of education in schools/ Mathematics, Science/ Environmental Science are major section for preparation and require concentration to qualify the exam


Note: Applicants are here by informed that this year CTET Exam will be held in English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Oriya, Assamese, Gujarati, Kanada, Khasi, Malayalam, Bangla, Manipuri, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan and Garo Languages  as per HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar.

Procedure to CBSE CTET Application Form 2018:

For filling up Central TET 2018 Application Form, you are advised to follow below provided some simple and easy guidelines:
  • First of all candidates are required to go through official website of the organization that is ctet.nic.in for CTET Application Form
  • On home page of official site go to “Current Events” section and hit the appropriate link.
  • Now read the CBSE CTET exam notification carefully first then hit the appropriate link to CTET 2018 Apply Online 
  • Fill the CTET Exam Application Form 2018 carefully and correctly in an appropriate manner without any mistakes.
  • Upload scanned images of latest photograph & signature along with CTET online Form 2018.
  • Make payment of requisite application fee and press the “Submit” tab at last.
  • Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page for record and keep CTET exam online application form for their reference.

Online Uploading of Scanned Images:
  • Uploading of scanned Photo and Signature are mandatory.
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
  • Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).
CTET Admit Card

Central Board of Secondary Education will issue the Central Teachers Eligibility Test hall ticket at official site 10 days before the examination dates. Students who will get registered only able to download call letter through online suing application number or password.

CTET Result

Soon after completion of examination, result will be released by Central Board of Secondary Education. Participated candidates can download the CTET Result through online mode either from official site or directly through this page by navigating through direct link. 

CTET Cut Off Marks:
  • The language mode of the question paper will Hindi and English.
  • Candidates have to score 60% marks.
  • The validity of the certificate is seven years counted from publication of result.
