ISI Admission 2018: If any aspirant is willing to take admission in Indian Statistical Institute then he must know about the complete ISI Admission process. Mode of Selection:

Candidates need to go through the ISI Admission test first then the authority will short-list some aspirants for the next round i.e. interview round. Selection of candidates is based on Merit as judged by their performance in Written Tests and Interviews conducted by the Institute.

Application Fee:

For the JRF programmes, Candidates (General Category) are required to pay application fee of Rs. 600/- and SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently Abled candidates for all programmes need to pay fee of Rs. 300/-through online mode only.

How to ISI Online Application Form:
  • The first thing that all the aspirants have to do is visit the official website of the organization i.e.  www.isical.ac.in
  • After that hit the Admissions tab which is available at the left side of the home page.
  • Then follow the “Admission Notice 2018” and select the suitable link.
  • Within few seconds, an ISI Admission form will be shown at your digital screen.
  • Fill the correct details in it and upload the scanned copies of required documents.
  • Along with this, upload the copy of your passport size photograph in jpg format and your signature.
  • Pay the application fee through debit/ credit card or by net banking.
  • At last hit the Submit button and take a hard copy of the form for further use.

Essential Documents:
  • Valid Email ID and Contact Number.
  • Payment details.
  • Candidate’s personal, qualification and address details.
  • Scanned image of passport size photograph. Image should be in jpg/bmp/gif/png/jpeg formats and size should not exceed 50kb.
  • Scanned image of signature in jpg/bmp/gif/png/jpeg formats. The maximum image size should be 30kb.
ISI Exam Pattern 2018:
  • The written exam comprises of two parts that is Part 1 and Part 2.
  • Part 1 contains multiple choice or descriptive test in Mathematics at UG level.
  • Part 2 contains multiple choices or descriptive test in mathematics at UG level.
  • Logical reasoning for Group A and for Group B comprises questions from Mathematics, Statistics and Physics at PG level and from Computer Science, Engineering and Technology at B.Tech level.
