Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate who want to get admission to BS-MS Programme they can check the eligibility criteria which are provide below:

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY):

Stream SA
Students who registered in the XI Standard and having secured a minimum of 80% (70% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in the X Standard Board Examination
Stream SX
Students who registered in the XII standard / (+2) and secured a minimum of 80% (70% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects (PCB) in the class 10th.They must be obtained 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects in Class 12th before taking up the fellowship, if awarded.
Stream SB
Students who registered in the 1st Year of an UG course in sciences and secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in Science subjects (PCB) in the XII/(+2) Standard Board Examination.They must secured 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in the 1st year final examination of B.Sc. /B.S. /B.Math. /B.Stat. /Int. M.Sc. /M.S.

JEE Advanced Exam: Candidates those who have scored a minimum of 75% marks in class XII and securing a place in the rank list of Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology.

Application Fee:

Candidates who are going to apply for the entrance exam they must have to pay the application fee of following amount:
  • For General and OBC Category: Rs.1500/-
  • For SC/ST Category and Kashmiri Migrants: Rs. 750/-
Mode of Payment:

Candidates must have to pay the application fee through online mode by using Net banking, Credit Card & Debit Card.


Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the marks obtained by them in IISER Aptitude Test and the reservation criterion.

Exam Pattern:
  • The examination will be a computer based test and it will be given via online mode
  • Weightage will be given as 3 marks each
  • The question paper will contain objective type questions
  • Negative marking will be there as 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

How to Fill IISER Admission Form?
  • Log on to the official website i.e. www.iiserpune.ac.in.
  • From the top of the homepage press on “Admissions” tab.
  • On the next page you will get the admission window now select “BS-MS Programme” link.
  • Now notification will be opened having all the details regarding the admission procedure.
  • Read all the details carefully and after that start the applying procedure.
  • Now go for the profile registration tab first.
  • Register yourself by creating a profile.
  • After that you will get a user ID and password.
  • Log in to the university website by using the essentials.
  • After that Fill Up Online Application Form and then go for the payment option.
  • Pay the application fees and confirm the paying status.
  • Recheck the form and take a print out of it for future use.
