The actor Akshay Kumar has introduced and launched Bharat Ke Veer App for Families of Martyr. Yes, this app is implemented to help civilians from all over the country to donate money to the families of deceased soldiers.
It’s for the first time happening in India, Akshay Kumar won National Award and this has brought a wave of good fortune in this bollywood star. Though, on Republic Day in January this year Akshay has already announced about this app and his intention to work on the Bharat Ke Veer app.

Bharat Ke Veer is the latest app launched in India which allows us and all citizens of country to donate money to the family of deceased soldiers. The actual mastermind for this app is Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and with Union Minister Rajnath Singh this app has been finally launched.
The portal is an IT based platform, and using this portal, anybody can donate up to a maximum of Rs 15 lakh to families of martyred soldiers and officers belonging to the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Let us know that with the opening of this web portal and mobile app, it will be easy to reach the financial support of the martyrs' families online. The web portal and the mobile app will have a list of martyrs and details of their relatives. It will also include the bank account number of any of the family members of the martyr. Anyone interested in making such financial assistance will be able to deposit the deposit directly into the bank account.
Through the 'Veer of India', the amount of money up to a maximum of 15 lakhs can be sent to the family of the soldier's family. When this limit is reached, the information of the relatives of the respected martyrs will be automatically withdrawn from the website.

Technical and Banking Partner of Bharat Ke Veer
National Informatics Centre (popularly known as NIC) is the technical brain behind this web portal and mobile application. The banking partner for the app and the website is State Bank of India. ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ is the names given to the mobile application and also the web portal where people from all over India can willingly contribute to this fund.
This app has been designed meticulously in such a fashion that the maximum amount that can go in a single account (that is in account of a single soldier) is INR 15 lakhs from a single donor. In case the donor tries to donate more than that amount to a single soldier’s account, the donor will get a notice and the funds will be diverted to another soldier’s account or in the corpus of the Bharat Ke Veer initiative.

The reason behind such cap is that maximum coverage needs to be achieved so that every brave heart’s family gets something. This simply means that a donor is actually free doing decide which soldier’s family he or she wants to support financially. On this occasion, Akshay Kumar said that after the martyrdom of the paramilitary forces, donations can be donated online to provide financial help to his family.
Who will be bothered?

The money that will be donated by a person and amount will be transferred or sent directly into the account of the soldier’s a/c. It is not essential for a donor to send money directly but he/she can also give or sent money into the Bharat Ke Veer corpus as well.

Here, those corpuses will be holding the donated money is required to stay under the management of a committee. This committee is made up of senior officials of the government as well as reputed and eminent persons. The committee will decide the distribution of the funds and amount will be distributed on equitable basis of though needy families will be given more priority.
