For Engineering/Architecture Courses:
  • Applying contender should have to qualify 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board along with this applicant must have passed their examination with Mathematics & Physics as a main subject & English as a language subject.
  • Candidates should have also scored minimum 45% marks in physics and mathematics along with one of the subjects (Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Chemistry/Computer science)
  • It is to note that for SC/ST category candidates, minimum requirement is 40% marks. Appearing candidates can also apply; those wish to apply for architecture course they must attain a valid NATA score card.

For Pharmacy/Science Courses:
  • Contenders who wish to apply for Pharmacy/Science Courses should have passed their 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent examination with PCB and English as a language subject.
  • It is therefore essential for the aspirants that they must have scored atleast 50% marks in PCB group whereas for of SC/ST category candidates the requirement is 40%.
  • Aspirants who are appearing can also apply.

Candidates have to pay an application fee of:
  • General candidates of Karnataka : Rs. 650/-
  • SC / ST candidates of Karnataka : Rs. 500/-
  • Candidates outside Karnataka : Rs. 750/-

Procedure to fill KCET Online Application 2018-

Candidates need to follow below steps to fill KCET application form-
  • Go to the official web portal of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) that is kea.kar.nic.in
  • Now go To ‘Flash News’ column available at the right side of the page and hit on ‘CET-2018’ link.
  • This will take you to another page contains a various link; you have to select the appropriate link to apply for Karnataka Common Entrance Test.
  • If you are the old user you will be asked to enter your KCET Login 2018 is but if you new user you have to create your login id and password by hitting the suitable link.
  • A new page will be opened contain all the detailed information regarding Karnataka Common Entrance Test, read all the information carefully.
  • Thereafter candidates are required to fill KCET 2018 Application Form in the prescribed manner.
  • Upload all the necessary scanned documents as mentioned in the official notification.
  • Now, recheck the entered details carefully and then hit “Submit” button.

KCET Admit Card 2018:

Candidates who will be appearing in the examination must be keen to down load the KCET Call letter; they are informed that they may download their KCET Hall Ticket 2018 via online mode through this page only. KCET 2018 Admit Card is expected to release in the 3rd week of April 2018. 

Hall ticket will contain detailed information about the candidate such as candidate’s name, roll number, address of the exam center, date of exam & time etc. Aspirants would not be allowed to enter in the examination hall without call letter, so keep it safe and secure.

KCET Results 2018:

KCET Result 2018 is expected to release in last week of May 2018, for KCET Exam 2018, keen contenders who will be performing in the exam may check their Karnataka CET Result from the official website. 

You just have to enter registration number to check you outcome, you will see your KCET 2018 Result in pdf format, which you save on your desktop and take a print of the same for future admission process. KCET Counseling 2018:

Karnataka CET Counselling process will commence from 2nd week of June 2018, candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list or KCET 2018 Cut Off they are required to attend the counselling process in the entrance examination. 

The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in entrance examination, seat availability & choices filled by them. Aspirants can appear for further counselling rounds, if they will not be satisfied with the seat allotment.
