OU PGCET Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality and Domicile:
  • All the appliers should be of Indian Nationality.
  • Applying aspirants should belong to the state of Telangana only and should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangna State Educational Institutions or 1974 as subsequently amended.  
  • Aspirants who are going to apply should satisfy Local / Non Local status requirement as per TS GO  MS NO 25 & 108
  • Those candidates who are from other than Indian National should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.

What are the Educational Qualifications?
  • Each and every course is of two years duration.
  • Applying aspirants should have passed B.SC, B.A (or) equivalent examination according to the courses will not less than 40% in the aggregate (Part-2) (In case of SC / ST candidates a pass in the qualifying examination is sufficient) and studied the subject is given official website.
  • Those students who have passed the Bachelors Degree examination compartmentally are also eligible they secured not less than 40% aggregate marks and pass in the qualifying examination is sufficient for SC / ST.
  • Aspirants who are appearing / appeared for the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply for the entrance test.
  • Candidates should be required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.
  • All the applying aspirants must ensure their courses eligibility / equivalence before appearing for the entrance test, given in official website.

Procedure to Fill OU PGCET 2018 Application Form

Step: 1 Online Registration and Fee Payment
  • First and foremost step is you need to visit to the official website  oucet.ouadmissions.com to apply for OU PGCET 2018
  • After reaching to home page you need to press on "Apply Online" link, and then you need to press on "Registration" link to register yourself.
  • In few seconds a new page will be opened with registration form, fill the details like Candidate Name, Date of Birth, Active E-Mail Id, Working mobile number, number of entrance tests to be taken, fill primary information and the requisite registration fee is paid.
Step: 2 Pay Application Fee
  • After that pay application fee by using Credit / Debit Card / Net Banking.
  • Once the registration will be completed with correct details, then your mobile will receive SMS of a "Registration Id".

Step-3 Fill up of OU PGCET Application Form 2018
  • After the completion of OU PGCET 2018 Registration process and authorization of your payment you can fill the online application form
  • Then you will get a detailed menu options screen, hit on "Online application form" link. 
  • Now within 2 to 3 seconds Online Application Form Login web page will be displayed on your computer screen to OU PGCET 2018 apply online.
  • You have to enter the details of Application no / Registration Id and hit on submit button then OU PGCET 2018 Application Form will be displayed.
  • Now fill the entire academic, study, reservation, personal details and other details. 
Step-4: Up Loading Images, Signature and Certificates
  • Upload photo and Signature prescribed and certificates (If applicable) and hit on "Save" button. 
Step-5: Final Submission and Print out the OU PGCET 2018 Admission Form
  • This is also a onetime procedure. If candidate is sure that all the information correct then press on "Submission" link.

Required Documents:

The following information must be kept ready for filling the details during Application form

  • Select the eligible test.
  • Common Entrance Test Rank Card.
  • Common Entrance Test Hall Ticket.
  • Transfer certificate (T.C.) from the Institution where the candidate studied last.
  • Original Certificate (or provisional certificate if the original is not yet issued as per rules) of the qualifying examination.
  • Community Certificate for SC, ST and BC candidates as per G.O. Ms.No. 58, Social Welfare (J) Dept, dated 12.5.1997 issued by MRO / Thasildar.
  • Income certificate from relevant authority wherever necessary issued by MRO/Thasildar on or after 01.01.2017.
  • Relevant original certificates in respect of candidates seeking admission against NCC/NSS/Sports, Widow/Children of Armed personnel (CAP), Physically Handicapped and Teacher and Laboratory Assistant categories.
  • Consolidated Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination.
  • Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) / 10th std. certificate.
  • Proof of Local/Non-Local status of the candidates according to rules in force

For MBA Programme:
  • The paper has two parts:
  • Part – A: Section-A (Verbal Ability) containing 1 to 25 and Section-B (General Knowledge) containing 26 to 40
  • Part – B: Section-C (Numerical Data Analysis) containing 41 to 70 and Section-D (Reasoning and Intelligence) containing 71 to 100 multiple choice questions
For M.A. Applied Economics:

The paper has five parts – A, B, C, D & E
  • Part – A (Mathematics) containing 1 to 40,
  • Part– B (General English) containing 41 to 55
  • Part – C (General Knowledge) containing 56 to 70
  • Part – D (Current Affairs) containing 71 to 85
  • Part – E (General Economics) containing 86 to 100 multiple choice questions
M.Sc in Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Chemistry:

The paper has four sections – A, B, C & D
  • Section– A Chemistry containing 1 to 34
  • Section – B Physics containing 35 to 67
  • Section – C Mathematics containing 68 to 100 multiple choice questions
  • Sections A & B are common for both M.P.C & B.P.C students
  • Section – C Mathematics is for M.P.C students
  • Section – D Biology is for B.P.C students
