Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:

A candidate must be either:
  • Citizen of India,
  • or subject of Nepal, or
  • subject of Bhutan, or
  • Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • Individual of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Required Qualification:
  • Those applying for  Union Public Service Commission CMS Exam must have completed MBBS Degree in relevant discipline from a University recognized by MCI, India.
  • Contender who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S. Examination are also eligible.
  •  Those who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for UPSC CMS Exam.

Age Limit:

Those applying against UPSC CMS Exam Notification must be less than 32 years as on 1st August, 2018.

 Application Fee:
  • Candidates are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 200/- through net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card or by cash.
  • Female/SC/ST/PH candidates  are exempted from payment of fee.

  • Scroll down the page & move under ‘Examination’ head.
  • Applicants may press on ‘Combined Medical Services Examination, 2018’ link.
  • You will be moved to new window, hit on ‘Notice (511.97 KB)’ link.
  • Now, go through all details as listed in UPSC Combined Medical Services Notification 2018.
  • After this, you may press on ‘Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC’ link.
  • Now, press on ‘Hit here for PART-1 Registration’ link available in front of CMS head.
  • Read all instructions carefully, then press on yes tab.
  • Fill part 1 Registration form.
  • Hit on continue tab after filling all details.
  • After this, move back to previous page & press on on ‘Hit here for PART-11 Registration’ link.
  • Enter registration id, date of birth, captcha.
  • Hit on submit tab.
  • Fill the online application form with all details and attach all required documents.
  • Make payment of fee & submit your form.
  • Access print copy of same for further use.
