Eligibility for IGNOU MBA Admission:

For admission to the IGNOU MBA (Banking & Finance) the candidate should satisfy the following conditions:
  • Applying contenders should be a graduate of a recognized University.
  • Contestant should have passed the CAIIB examinations of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, Mumbai and awarded the requisite qualification/credentials therefore by the Institute.
  • He/ She should have been working with the banking or financial services sector for a period of at least two years.
IGNOU MBA Admission Procedure:

For IGNOU admission to MBA(Banking & Finance) Programme, a candidate is required to apply to the Regional Director concerned, in the application form (given on page no. 115-117) with requisite fee and other documents, like the qualifying certificate of CAIIB. Admission will be offered to all the eligible candidates subject to a maximum limit mutually agreed upon between IGNOU and IIBF.

IGNOU MBA Fee Structure:
  • Contenders are required to pay MBA course fee of Rs. 1500/- per course that can be paid through a Bank Draft obtained from any one of the scheduled banks in favour of IGNOU and should be payable at the city where your Regional Centre is situated (at the time of Admission.
  • Examination fee is not included in the course fee. Please write Your Name, Enrolment Number and Address on the back of the Bank Draft to ensure proper credit to your fee account. Payment of course fee for Re-registration/re-admission is to be made through online only.

IGNOU Re-Registration / Re-Admission:

Application form for admission to MBA (Banking & Finance) will be submitted only at the time of first entry to the programme. Subsequent continuation in the programme will be through IGNOU Re-Registration Forms. Schedule for submission of Re-registration Forms is as under:

Process to Download IGNOU MBA (B&F) Prospectus:

Candidates can download the IGNOU MBA (B&F) prospectus for the January 2018 session by going through online mode which can be done by following the steps given below, however they must send Rs. 1000 prospectus fee in addition to the programme fee when sending the application form.
  • First of all open official page of Indira Gandhi National Open University that is www.ignou.ac.in
  • After that move towards menu bar and select “Student Zone” tab.
  • From drop down list, candidates need to hit on “Download” tab.
  • After that on appeared page candidates need to select “Admission notification” link that is available in bottom of page under ‘important link’.
  • By this PDF file will appear, you can go through it and read the complete advertisement carefully.
  • Candidates can also buy the prospectus from the Director, Student Service Centre (SSC), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 or from any other IGNOU Regional Centres by paying Rs. 1000 in cash or by attaching a demand draft - DD of Rs. 1050/- that is to be drawn in favour of 'IGNOU' payable at the city from where the Prospectus is requested. Candidates should write their names and address and 'MPB' on the reverse of the DD
