CTET Exam Pattern 2018: Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct CTET Exam on 16-09-2018. Applicants will require CTET Exam Pattern to prepare for CTET 2018. So, here, we have provided detailed CTET 2018 Exam Pattern for assistance of applicants.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test Pattern will help the applicants to know the number of question will be asked in exam, total marks, time limit, marking scheme per sections etc. As per CTET Paper Structure, there will be two papers in CTET Exam – Paper-I and Paper-II.

Candidates who are interested can apply for CTET 2018 by filling CTET Application Form on or before the last date that is 19-07-2018. CBSE CTET Exam 2018 will be conducted on 16-09-2018 at various CTET Exam Centres.

CTET Exam Pattern for Paper I
  • According to CTET Paper-I Exam Pattern, CTET Paper will be bilingual i.e English and Hindi.
  • The exam will contain 150 MCQ type questions and each question carries 1 marks.
  • According to CTET Exam Pattern, The duration of exam is of 2.30 hours.
  • There will be no Negative Marking.
  • Questions will be based on prescribed syllabus of NCERT.
  • Candidates can choose any language as Language-I and other as Language-II from the options available in language section which is required to clear at confirmation page.

CTET Exam Pattern for Paper:
  • According to CTET Paper-II Exam Pattern, CTET Questions Paper will contain 150 objective type questions and each question will carry one mark.
  • According to CTET Exam Pattern, The Paper will be bilingual i.e English and Hindi.
  • The CTET Exam Duration of Paper-II is of 2.30 hours.
  • CTET Marking Scheme: No negative marking is applicable in the exam.
  • According to CTET Exam Pattern,Questions will be based on prescribed syllabus of NCERT for Class VI to class VIII but difficulty level will be as per 12th. Check CTET Paper-II Exam Pattern here.

Important Points
  • The Central Teacher Eligibility Test shall apply the Central Govt. schools such as NVS, KVS, Central Tibetan Schools etc. and school under the administrative control of Union Territory.
  • Central Teacher Eligibility Test qualifying certificate will be valid for sever year from date of issuance of the certificate.
  • Applicants can attempt CTET any number of times for obtaining CTET Certificate.
  • A CTET qualified person can appear again for improving his/her CTET score.
  • The CTET Exam Centre once permitted cannot be changed under any situation.
