JEE Advanced Cut Off 2018: IIT Kanpur has today released JEE Advanced Result and now it’s time for the exam conducting authority to release JEE Advanced Cut Off for GEN/SC/ST/OBC Category. 

The JEE Advanced Cut Off 2018 will be declared category-wise i.e. GEN/OBC/SC/ST separately, institution-wise and branch-wise. From 7 lakh candidates appeared in JEE Main Examination, only 2.3 lakh candidates get qualified for advance out of which 1.8 lakh are boys and 50,000 are girls i.e. 22% of the total.

According to the previous year statistics, around 2.2 lakh students had qualified for the JEE (A). Out of all the candidates going to appear in JEE Advance examination, 1.1lakh (48%) belongs to general category, 28% are from OBC–NCL category, 15% belongs to SC and 7.5% are ST candidates.

In the year 2017 around 1,72,024 candidates were registered for IIT JEE Advance Examination. Out of all those only 1,59,540 appeared in the test, while a total of 50,455 qualified for admission to the IITs.
