TET Exam Pattern

Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted in two parts that are Paper I and Paper II. The examination authority conducts Paper I exam to hire the teachers for class I to V and Paper II is conducted to hire the teachers for class VI to VIII.

TET Paper Exam Pattern for Paper 1:
  • Questions in paper I will be asked from the subjects namely Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
  • In Each subject there will be 30 questions and they carry 1 mark each.
  • All the questions will be of objective type multiple choices.
  • Total 150 questions will be available in the exam.
  • 90 minutes will be allotted to the candidates to complete the exam.
