Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) 9 point CBSE Grading System for Class 10th/12th is launched by the Central Board of Secondary Education. External Subjects:
  • Evaluation of theory/practical papers in external subjects will be in numerical scores.
  • In addition to numerical scores, the Board will indicate grades in the marks sheets given to the students in case of subjects of external examinations.
  • Letter grades on a nine-point scale shall be used for subjects of external examinations
  • The grades shall be derived from scores in case of subjects of external examination.
  • The qualifying marks in each subject of external examination shall be 33% at Secondary/Senior School Certificate Examinations.

CBSE Pass Criteria:
  • Candidates are required to score 33% marks to pass in each subject.
  • If there are practical’s, the students need to score 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in 33%
