RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Eligibility:

RRB ALP Qualification:

Applicants must have ITI (approved by NCVT/SCVT) in any specific trade to apply for this post.
Candidates who have completed diploma in engineering are also eligible and should have completed minimum 10thstandard from recognized board

RRB ALP Age Limit:

Age of applicants should not be less than 18 and not more than 30 years. Relaxation in age will be given to reserved category candidates as per the norms of Indian Railway.

Railway Loco Pilot Medical Standards:
  • The Medical Standards required for RRB ALP Exam requires Loco running men to have the highest standard of medical fitness.
  • This RRB Medical Standards has to be maintained from the period of joining and up to the end of the career as Railway driver.

Railway Group D Eligibility Criteria

Railway Group D Educational Qualification:

As per Railway Eligibility Criteria of Group D, applying contenders are required to possess class 10th or ITI or its equivalent qualification from the recognized board or institute. 

Recent Changes In Minimum Qualification Limit For The Wives And Widows Of The Employees
  • The board has scrapped the rule of mandatory minimum educational qualification for the wife or the widow of the employee for the Level-1 job on compassionate grounds. Previously, the minimum qualification was class 10th.
  • Appointments can be made provided the appointing authority is satisfied that the duties of the post against which the appointment is being made can be performed with help of some on-job training.
  • Jobs on compassionate grounds are given to wives or widows of employees who died during service or retired as medically unfit.

Railway Group D Age limit:

Railway Group D Physical Test Eligibility:

There are some Railway Eligibility Criteria of physical Standards set by the Board for the post of RRC Group D.

Male Candidates
Male candidates should be able to run 1000 meters
in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance 
should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight
for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one
chance without putting the weight down.
Female candidates
should be able to run 400 meters in 3 minutes and
10 seconds in one chance
should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight
for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one
chance without putting the weight down.
PWD candidates
PWD candidates are exempted from Physical Test.

Railway Assistant Station Master Eligibility Criteria:

Railway ASM Educational Qualification:

As per Railway Eligibility Criteria, appliers are required to possess B. Educational Qualification or should be a Graduate from a recognised University / Institution. The candidates must be the resident of India according to the Railway Exam Eligibility Criteria.

Selection Process Of Indian Railway:

The Ministry of Railways and Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts railways exam to fill various Non Technical and Technical posts. Railway Exams 2018 are designed according to the educational standards required for the post.

For some categories, written test may be followed by interview and for others a skill test or psychological test may also be conducted as required by the posts Job profile. All questions are multiple-choice objective type. More than one written test may be conducted (Preliminary and mains exam) if the number of applicants is large.

RRB Exam Details includes questions on Arithmetical Aptitude, General responsiveness, and General English. Questions on logical and analytical reasoning will also be included in the examination. English will be the only mode of instruction for the Technical Cadre exam.
