The main purpose of the PNB Saraswati is to provide financial support to meritorious students for pursuing higher education in India. Candidates who going to apply for PNB Saraswati loan must be an Indian national

Also candidates must have secured admission to a higher education course in recognized institutions in India through Entrance Test/ Merit Based Selection process after completion of HSC(10 plus 2 or equivalent).

Above Rs. 4 lac - 5%
Scholarship/ assistantship may be considered in margin.
Margin may be brought-in on year-to-year basis as and when disbursements are made on a pro-rata basis.

Upto Rs. 7.50 lacs: Parent(s)/guardian be made joint borrower (s). No tangible Security and /or 3rd party guarantee is required.

PNB PRATIBHA` aims at providing financial support to meritorious students who get admission in Premier Institutes in India. Candidates applying for PNB Pratibha loan Should have secured admission in Regular full time Degree / Diploma courses offered by Premier Institutes.

ii. In case of Institutes covered at Annexure-II :

  • Loans up to Rs.4lacs are charged with an interest of base rate +2%.
  • Loans above Rs.4lacs but up to Rs.7.5lacs is charged with an interest of base rate +3%
  • Loans above Rs.7.5lacs the interest charged are base rate +2.5%.
  • Base rate +1% of interest is charged irrespective of the amount where 100% tangible collateral security is provided in the form of IP, enforceable SARFESAI act. And where liquid security is available.
  • Simple interest is charged even in the repayment holiday period.
  • No processing fees or upfront fees are charged for this loan.
  • Documentation charges are taken, Rs.270 is charged for the loan upto Rs.4lacs and Rs.450 is charged for the loan above Rs.4 lacs.
