SSC Selection Procedure
SSC CGL Selection Procedure:
Candidates for various posts under SSC CGL
Recruitment will be selected based on their performance in Tier 1, 2
& 3 Exams. However, the Tier 4 of SSC CGL is qualifying in nature. The
SSC
CGL Selection Process is explained in below section.
- Stage 1: Tier I Online Test
- Stage 2: Tier II Online Test
- Stage 3: Tier III Descriptive Test
- Stage 4: Tier IV Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) /Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
- SSC Selection Procedure: This is the first stage of SSC CGL Selection Procedure 2018. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Selection Procedure will test the basic understanding of the candidates.
- Tier-I exam will be conducted in Computer Based Mode comprising of 200 marks Objective Multiple Choice Type questions.
- Marks of scored by the candidates in Tier I will be taken into account for ranking
- The Tier-I marks will be taken into consideration for selecting candidates for Descriptive Test and Computer Proficiency Tests (CPT)/Data Entry Skill Test (DEST).

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam
Pattern:
- Tier 2 will be conducted through online mode.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper-II and 0.50 marks in Paper-I, Paper-III and Paper IV for each wrong answer.
- Questions will be of the Objective type with multiple choices.

To Prepare For SSC CGL 2018
SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam
Pattern:
- The Tier 3 Exam would be a descriptive type and SSC CGL Tier 3 Selection Process is explained here.
- Tier 3 will be conducted through offline mode.
- It will carry 100 marks and duration of the paper will be one hour.
- This Tier has been introduced to assess the writing skills of the applicants which are necessary for Government Jobs.
- The Paper will comprise writing of an Essay / Passage of 250 words and Letter / Application Writing of approximately 150 words.
- The qualifying marks in Tier-III would be 33 per cent.

SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam
Pattern:
- SSC Selection Procedure: Tier-IV of Examination would continue to be Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) /Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).
- The exam is qualifying in Nature. Check SSC CGL Tier 4 Selection Process.
- Computer Proficiency Test => for Asst. Section Officer in CSS post only.
- Data Entry Skill Test at Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour => for Tax Assistant post only

Selection Procedure:
The Selection Procedure of SSC CHSL is
divided in five stages and aspirants will have to clear all the stages in order
to be appointed for SSC
CHSL Recruitment 2018 at the post of their preference. Candidates can

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern:
- The Tier I of SSC Combined higher secondary level examination will be written examination and consist objective type questions.
- It contains 4 sections and every section consists of 50 marks each. The test will be last long for 75 minutes.

SSC CHSL Tier II Exam
Pattern:
For tier 2 examination, a descriptive test
will be carried out which will be conducted offline. It is a 100 marks paper
where you need to score at least 33% to qualify.

SSC MTS Selection Procedure:
SSC Multitasking Staff Selection Process is
based on Written Examination. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their
performance in the SSC MTS
Recruitment 2018 Examination will be required to appear for a
descriptive type qualifying paper for testing basic language skills.
Written Examination consists of two paper,
candidates who will qualify the objective type paper (Paper I) will be
shortlisted for the descriptive type (Paper-II) examination on the basis of
their performance in Paper-I. Paper-II will only of qualifying nature.
SSC MTS Paper I Exam
Pattern:
The final mode of SSC Selection Procedure of
candidates for the post of Multi Tasking Staff is based on their performance in
SSC MTS Paper 1. SSC MTS Paper 1 is of objective type and acts as a
preliminary test. Those who are able to attain the cut off for Paper 1 will be
shortlisted for Paper 2.
