APPSC Departmental Test 2018: Online applications are invited for APPSC Departmental Test from 01-09-2018 to 24-09-2018. Candidates who want to appear in the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Departmental Tests (November 2018 Session), must submit the application form before the last date.

Candidates primarily shall register the One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) through the Commission’s Website. Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the Tests using the OTPR User ID through Commission's website.

Andhra Pradesh PSC Departmental Test Eligibility Criteria:
  • The employees of Government of Andhra Pradesh are eligible to apply for the Tests that are prescribed in their respective Departmental Service Rules.
  • The Secretariat employees are allowed to appear for the following Tests, wherever the rules permit in order to get eligibility for appointment by transfer/ promotion to other Services.
  • Typists-cum-Assts. working in Finance and Planning (Finance Wing) are eligible to appear for the Treasuries & Accounts Service Examination.

Andhra Pradesh PSC Departmental Test Application Fee:
  • To apply for Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Departmental Test, you have to pay fee for each Test is Rs. 200/-. However, no fee is prescribed for the Tests in Gujarathi and Marwari Languages.
  • The applicant shall pay Rs. 500/- towards application processing fee, besides the examination fee.
  • Fee can be paid through amount of two different channels that is Online using Payment Gateway using Net Banking/Credit card/Debit Card and AP Online Centers.

Selection Process for APPSC Recruitment:
  • Candidate’s selection for Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment will be done on basis of marks scored in Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Departmental Test.
  • All the Departmental Tests will be conducted at all the 13 Districts.
  • The candidates shall be admitted at the respective District Centre only, where the candidate is presently working as mentioned in the application.

How to apply against APPSC November Departmental Test 2018?

First of all, logon to the official website of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission that is www.psc.ap.gov.in to apply for APPSC November Departmental Exam 2018.

Follow “Departmental Tests” tab which is shown at the homepage. After that press on “Apply Online” link and fill online application form with the complete details in correct manner to apply for Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment.

Step1: Candidates applying for the first time for any notification have to first fill the OTPR application carefully to obtain OTPR ID.

  • The Applicant has to Login in the Commission's website with the User Name (OTPR ID) and the Password set by Candidate.
  • After Login, the Applicant has to click on the "Online Application Submission" present in the bottom right corner of the commission's website.
  • The Applicant now has to hit on the payment link against the Notification No.04/2018.
  • The Basic details required for calculation of the Fee will be prepopulated from the OTPR data.
  • Once the payment is successful, payment reference ID is generated. Candidates can note the payment reference ID for future correspondence.
  • Thereafter the applicant is directed to the application form.
  • The Applicant should check the data displayed thoroughly and should fill the application specific fields like paper code details, examination centre etc., and details carefully and submit the Application form.
  • The Applicant is requested to print and save the application receipt for future reference.
Step5: In any case if the payment process is not submitted successfully, then the applicant should start the fresh payment process as mentioned in STEP-II.

Step6: Once the application is submitted successfully, correction in application form will be enabled.
The corrections can be made in the application form itself for paper code only. Fields which affect the Name, personal details, and fee are not enabled for corrections.

If applications are rejected:

Application will be rejected for the following reasons:-
  • Failure to upload the Photo/ Signature.
  • Failure to pay fee towards the Test and application.
  • If the scanned Service Certificate is not uploaded duly filled in and signed by the applicant and the Controlling Officer with seal.
  • If the filled in Application Form is not in terms of this notification.
  • If the applicant is not eligible to appear for the Test in terms of Para (4) of the Notification.
  • If the candidate applies during debarment period
