Eligibility
Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment NCC Special Entry:
Nationality:
Applicant must either be:
(i)
A citizen of India, or
(ii) A subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) A subject of Nepal, or
(iv)
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 with
the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v)
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and
East African countries of Kenya. Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania,
Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently
settling in India
Required
Qualification for Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme:
For NCC 'C' Certificate Holders:
- You may possess degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
- Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50%aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree course respectively.
For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army
Personnel:
- Must hold Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
- NCC 'C' certificate NOT required for Wards of Battle Casualties
Age Limit:
Age of applicants applying for Indian Army
Recruitment should be between 19 years to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2019 (born not
earlier than 02 Jan 1994 and not later than 01 Jan 2000, both dates inclusive).

Travelling
Allowance:
Those appearing for SSB interview for the
first time for a particular type of commission shall be entitled to AC 3-Tier
to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation – cum-sleeper charges
within the Indian Limits.
Selection Process:
Aspirants will be shortlisted for Indian
Army Recruitment NCC Special Entry on the basis of listed sessions.
Shortlisting of Applications:
- Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to fix cutoff percentage of marks for shortlisting of aspirants, without assigning any reason.
- After shortlisting of applications, the Centre allotment will be intimated to contenders via their email.
- Only shortlisted eligible aspirants will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (PB).
- Call-up letter for SSB interview will be issued by the respective Selection Centre on aspirant’s registered e-mail id and SMS only
- Those who clear Stage I will undergo to Stage II.
- Duration of SSB interviews is five days.
- This will be followed by a medical examination for aspirants who get recommended after Stage II.
- Aspirants recommended by the Service Selection Board will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.
- Women contenders will undergo Medical Examination by a lady Medical officer/lady specialist officer to rule out gynaecological disorders.
Important Note:
Wards of Battle Casualties will be
intimated dates for SSS Interview on their given email by the Selection Centres
separately.
Physical Standard:
(i) Male Candidates: Height - 157.5 cm
(ii) Female Candidates: Height -152 cm; Weight - 42 kg
Cut-off in
Physical Standards:
For aspirants belonging to certain
categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such
candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms.

- Hit on “Officers Entry Apply/Login” tab visible under “Officers Selection” section.
- New User is required to register by pressing on “Registration” link.
- Fill asked details in Indian Army NCC Special Entry Registration form.
- Hit on login tab.
- Now, you may fill Indian Army NCC Special Entry Application Form.
- Put asked details in application form.
- Upload your passport size photo and signature along with application form.
- Take a preview of form & submit it.
- You may access print copy of same for further need.
