JEE MAIN Application Form

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria:

Qualifying Exam
10+2 or equivalent exam passed in 2017 and 2019 are eligible to apply.
Appearing Candidates
Candidates appearing in the 12th exams in 2019 can apply.
Diploma Holders
Diploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs.
Minimum Marks
There is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main.
For admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs
Candidates have to secure 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 12th exams or be in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
Number of Subjects
Candidates must have five subjects in the 10+2 exam to meet JEE Main 2019 eligibility criteria. Candidates should have physics, mathematics, language, any one from the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject and any other subject.
Year of Appearance
Candidates who have passed 12th exams in 2016 are not eligible to apply. Students who have appeared in 12th exams in 2016, did not pass in 2016 but passed in 2017 are not eligible to apply.

JEE Main 2019 Age Limitation:

Appliers JEE Main notification should have been born on or after 1st October 1993. Five year relaxation is given for reserved categories as per the rules.

JEE Main 2019 Application Fees:

Those students who are applying for JEE Main 2019 notification are required to pay application fees either through online mode using credit/debit card and net banking or through e-challan of SBI bank. Application fee is nonrefundable.

JEE Main Paper I Pattern:
  • To get admission in to B.E./B.Tech courses, candidates will have to qualify JEE Paper-1. Paper 1 will be offline (PBT) as well as online (CBT). 
  • In JEE paper-1, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects are included in which 30 questions will be asked from each subject with total of 90 questions

JEE Main Paper 2 Pattern:
  • JEE Main Paper-2 will be conducted for those candidates who want to get admitted into B.Arch/ B.Planning courses.

Process To Fill JEE MAIN 2019 Application Form

  • Firstly Download information bulletin by pressing JEE Main Boucher 2019 and read it carefully to ensure your eligibility.
  • Now Follow and press and JEE Main Login.
  • All the Indian citizen candidates should possess AADHAAR card issued by UIDAI.
  • At the time of filling application form of JEE (Main)–2019, the candidates will have to enter their AADHAAR number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data.
  • Fill JEE Main Online Application Form carefully and correctly without any mistakes.
  • Upload Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression
  • Pay Examination Fee by Debit/Credit card or e-challan (generated after submission of details in online application form).
  • Candidates are required to take a print out of computer generated acknowledgment slip after successful submission of data and payment of fee for future reference.

Specifications Of Photographs Signature and Thumb Impression
  • Passport size photograph scanned with name and date mentioned below (image should be in JPEG format with size between 10 KB to 40 KB and image should be colored with clear background with 3.5 x 4.5 cm dimension).
  • Scanned signature made by candidate on a white page within the 3.5 x 1.5 cm box size. Image should be in JPEG format with size between 1 KB to 30 KB.
  • Scanned left thumb impression for both boys and girls on a white sheet in a box of 3.5 x 1.5 cm dimension Image should be in JPEG format with size between 1 KB to 30 KB.
