Modi’s Gift to Central Govt. Employees: Seventh Pay Commission's recommendations are expected to be applied from January 2016 for Central government employees. According to reports, the commission submitted its recommendations to the government, but so far there has been no official confirmation. In recent times the government pay commission committee tenure was extended until December. Seventh Pay Commission recommendations of 30% Increment in Salary is confirmed for Central Govt. Employees.

It was formed in February 2014 by previous UPA government and headed by Justices AK Mathur. Retired 1978 batch IAS officer Vivek Rae, economist Rathin Roy and the other members are part of this. Meena Agarwal is its secretary. The recommendation of the committee is to be applied. Government Pay Commission every 10 years constitutes and his staff reviews the pay scale. The state government is committed to implementing these recommendations. FPC 18 center employees and 5.5 million pensioners will benefit.


30% Increment in Salary Confirmed for Central Govt. Employees

It is said that after the implementation of the seventh pay commission 15-16 per cent increase in the salaries of government employees said. The minimum salary of employees will be Rs 15,000 per month. SPC Basic salary of Rs 2550 to Rs 6660 had increased. Experts believe that the Seventh Pay Commission will benefit the most from lower staff. There has been speculation that the seventh pay commission to employees in Pay Band 13 can be reduced, just 32 pay bands. Because of low Pay-band the IAS, IPS and IRS salary will be similar.


Seventh Pay Commission will impact strongly on the implementation of the treasury. Experts say that the central staff salary bill will be 9.56 per cent to Rs 100 619 crore. Sixth Central Pay Commission due to staff allowances were doubled. 166 792 million was spent from the treasury. The government on the one rank one pension is also to adjust.



The first came on the commission in 1946 and the basic salary was increased to Rs 35. Second on the Commission and the basic salary in 1959 was Rs 80. Basic salary in the third pay commission in 1973 rose to Rs 185. 1986 to Rs 750 in the fourth Pay Commission, 1996 Fifth Pay Commission increased the basic salary in 2550 was Rs. In 2006 SPC recommended that the basic salary of Rs 6660.
