Eligibility for Horticulture Courses
Bachelor Course:
After passing 12th with science subjects
(Chemistry and Biology), Horticultural Science can enroll in undergraduate
course. For admission, the candidate has to undergo the entrance
examination conducted by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research. The
duration of the course is three to four years.
Masters course:
Undergraduate students in biology or in
horticulture can enroll in Horticultural PG course. For admission the
candidate has to appear in the entrance examination organized by the Indian
Council for Agricultural Research. Some universities and institutes conduct
themselves entrance examinations for admission. The duration of the course
is two years.
