for third round of allotment.

TNEA Counselling Schedule 2018:
Aspirants who want to take admission in B.
Arch programme in the state of Tamil Nadu can attend the counseling on the
below given TNEA scheduled dates. As per the merit list prepared by the authority,
shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling.

TNEA Counseling Eligibility
Criteria:
- Participants having the requisite eligibility criteria can appear in counseling cum seat allotment round.
- Appearing candidates applied for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2018 must passed VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std in Tamil Nadu or their equivalent examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu.
- Aspirants must be qualified the examination by scoring the marks equal to or more than the cutoff for appearing the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Counseling 2018.
- Candidates other than BC/ BCM / MBC & DNC / SC/ SCA / ST should have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates should have obtained marks greater than or equal to the qualifying marks (70 out of 200) prescribed in NATA 2018 score card.

For TNEA Counselling, appeared

TNEA Selection Procedure:
Candidates have to register to
attend Counselling by submitting their filled application form through online
mode on its official website. Then organization will shortlisted through
scrutiny of application forms. After screening of application forms, all the
candidates will get allotted with the random number. Then all the candidates
who get selected through Random Number Process will get the Counselling Call
Letter by post. At last, you have to attend the single Window Counselling on
scheduled date along with the Counselling Call Letter.
TNEA Counselling Procedure 2018
Aspirants are required to follow
the below mentioned steps which to know the detailed counselling procedure of
TNEA 2018:
TNEA Counselling Registration:
First step of individual is to
get registered for TNEA. Candidates have to fill the TNEA application form 2018
and get registered. Applicants have to provide their personal and academic
details while registering for TNEA.
TNEA Application Scrutiny:
Anna University will examine each
of the received application form and will separate the eligible candidates from
the non-eligible ones. It is important for candidates to check the eligibility
criteria before applying. After critical examining, random number, TNEA will be
allotted to all the candidates moving ahead in the admission procedure.
Rank List Publication:
Further TNEA rank list of all the
candidates will be published by Anna University. Candidates will get their
names along with their ranks mentioned in the rank list.
Call Letter Availability:
Candidates having their names in
the TNEA 2018 rank list will have to download the TNEA counselling call letter.
No individual will be allowed to enter the without TNEA counselling call letter
download.
TNEA Single Window Counselling:
Candidates will have to go in
person to attend the single window counselling at the prescribed date, time and
venue as mentioned in the call letter. TNEA single window counselling will conducted
in the following way:
- Payment of TNEA counselling Fees: Aspirants are required to pay the specified counselling fee of Rs 5000 (Rs 1000 for SC/ SCA/ ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) either by Cash or DD. There is no such policy of TNEA counselling Fee refund.
- Document verification: Candidates will have to carry all of their original documents to the counselling. The list of documents is provided below.
- Photocopy of class X Mark Sheet
- Photocopy of HSC / Equivalent Mark Sheet
- Photocopy of Transfer Certificate
- Photocopy of Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM (either Permanent card or electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate)
- Photocopy of HSC Hall Ticket
- Photocopy of Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate – If applicable
- Photocopy of First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate) – If applicable
- Photocopy of Srilankan Tamil Refugee certificate – If applicable
- Special Reservation Form(s) with DD and photocopy of the Relevant Certificate(s) – If applicable.
TNEA Choice Filling: Candidates
will have to fill in their choice of colleges from TNEA participating
institutes and B.Tech programmes offered by them in the order of their priority
during choice filling.
TNEA Seat Allotment: Candidates
will be allotted seats on the basis of their merit, choice filling and
reservation (wherever applicable). After seat allotment, candidates will be
required to collect the allotment order. After verifying the allotted college
and course as printed on the letter, candidates will have to report to the
college and enrol for admission before the last date.
