AIIMS MBBS Merit List consists of names of those aspirants who will qualify in AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2018 which will be held on 26-05-2018 and 27-05-2018. Shortlisted aspirants will appear in AIIMS MBBS 2018 Counselling. Number of candidates called for AIIMS MBBS Counselling is 4 times number of seats.

Method of Resolving Ties (Tie Resolving Methods of AIIMS MBBS 2018 Result)

The overall merit/ranking will be based on the Percentile scores of Total Raw Scores. The technique adopted for breaking ties (similar Percentiles) will be:

Biology: Higher Percentile scores in Biology will result in higher ranking

Chemistry: If Biology Percentiles do not break the tie, higher Percentile scores in Chemistry will result in higher ranking

Physics: If Biology and Chemistry Percentiles do not break the tie, higher Percentile scores in Physics will result in higher ranking.

Age: If Biology, Chemistry, Physics Percentiles do not break the tie, the candidate elder by age will be ranked higher.

AIIMS MBBS Cut Off:

AIIMS MBBS Cut Off Marks refers to minimum marks required to qualify medical entrance exam. It is given as percentile corresponding to percentages for categories. Participated candidates can check the AIIMS Cut off according to category.

·         OBC category cut off: 45%

·         SC / ST category cut off: 40%

AIIMS MBBS Normalization Process

• The normalization of AIIMS MBBS 2018 Marks is essential because there will be two shifts of the entrance exam.
• The normalization of score is needed for determination of the merit or ranking to be used during the Counseling for the allotment of seats. 
• The normalization process is based on percentiles, which is a score based on relative performance of the all candidates appearing for the exam.
• The marks obtained by the candidates are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0.
• The AIIMS MBBS Rank List and AIIMS MBBS 2018 Result is prepared in three shifts, the Parameters are
• Raw score
• Percentages
