Sainik Board Secretariat is soon going to announce the notification for 10th
& 12th Pass students to apply for Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme
2019-20 (PMSS) through online mode of application process on its official
portal.
Those who want to take advantage of this scheme are strictly
advised to match their qualifications with that of the requirements of the
organization. They will be able to check all the details through the official
notice which will be uploaded on official site and will also be available on
this page.

Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat has taken an opportunity
of introducing PM Scholarship Scheme to encourage higher technical and
professional education for the dependent wards of Ex Servicemen / Ex Coast
Guard personnel and their widows. So, there will be large number of appliers as
last year.
So, willing aspirants are advised to go through this page of
www.privatejobshub.in and get the correct method to apply for Prime Minister
Scholarship Scheme 2019-20 before the last date.
Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme
Number of Scholarships:
As per the terms and conditions of the organization total
number of 5500 wards / widows of Ex-servicemen are selected for scholarship in
each academic year for further studies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students who have taken admission in 1st year (except Lateral Entry & Integrated course) are only eligible to apply for PMSS.
- Students should have scored 60% and above in Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ) that is 10+2 / Diploma / Graduation.
- Students studying in 2nd and subsequent years are not eligible.
- Students who are Dependent Wards / Widows of Ex Servicemen & Ex Coast Guard personnel
- Wards of Civilians including Para Military Personnel are Not Eligible
Eligible Courses:
- First Professional Degree Courses like BE, B Tech, BDS, MBBS, B Ed, BBA, BCA, B Pharma, etc. duly recognized by the respective Government Regulatory Bodies
- Master Degree Courses are not eligible for PMSS except MBA / Management / MCA Courses
- Students studying abroad are not eligible for this scheme. No distance learning course is permitted under PMSS.
Amount of Scholarship:
- For Boys: Rs. 2000/- pm
- For Girls: Rs. 2250/- pm
Procedure to Apply for Prime
Minister Scholarship Scheme 2019-20:
- Firstly, candidates need to reach the official website of Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat that is ksb.gov.in to fill Prime Minister Scholarship Application Form
- Drag the cursor towards “PMSS” tab available at the menu bar on the home page
- Hit on “General Information” link from the drop down list through which you will be navigated towards new page
- Go through all the details carefully and if your are found eligible go back to the previous page
- Hit on “New Application” link through the same drop down list under “PMSS” tab
- Now you need to fill all the details required in the PMSS Application Form correctly
- Check the details once and hit on “Submit” tab at last
- Also, take print out of the filled in application form for future use
