NTA UGC NET 2019: National Testing Agency has released the NTA UGC NET 2019 Exam Date for December Exam. The agency will conduct UGC NET 2019 from 02-12-2018 to 16-12-2018 in two shifts per day on Saturdays and Sundays.

The organization will release NTA UGC NET Application Form from 01-09-2018 and continues till 30-09-2018. Candidates have to ensure their eligibility to apply for NTA UGC NET 2019.

UGC NET 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification Required for NTA UGC NET 2019 December:
  • According to the UGC NET 2019 Notification, to appear in UGC NET Exam 2019 it is mandatory for candidate to have a Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 55% of marks.
  • Those candidates who are in final year of the master’s course are also eligible to apply for UGC National Eligibility Test 2019.

Age Limitation for UGC NET 2019 December:

For Junior Research Fellowship

Maximum age of candidates to appear in the examination or to fill up the UGC NET 2019 Form is 30 years for NTA NET 2018. Relaxation will be given for NTA UGC NET 2019 Notification as:
  • 5 years to the candidates related to OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD category for UGC NET 2019 Exam.
  • Relaxation will also be given to the candidates having research experience.
  • Candidates possessing LL.M. degree will be eligible for 3 years relaxation in age.
For Assistant Professor

No age limit is there for UGC NET Exam Notification 2019.

According to the UGC NET 2019 Notification December, Candidates who are interested in appearing in UGC NET 2019 have to an amount of application fees as:

Mode of Payment:

The UGC NET 2019 Online Application amount will be submitted via credit/ debit card or through e-challan. Candidates submitting the fee through e-challan have to make the payment in cash to Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC bank for NTA UGC NET 2019.

UGC NET Selection Process:

The candidates need to obtain minimum marks to be obtained in NTA UGC NET 2019 for considering a candidate for the award of JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor. They are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II.

NTA UGC NET Exam Pattern 2019:

Exam Mode: Examination will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates have to mark their responses on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet.
Number of Questions: Total 150 questions will be asked in NET which is divided into 2 papers. Paper-I will have 50 questions and Paper-II will have 100 questions. All questions are compulsory to attempt which will be given in UGC NET Question Papers.
Subjects: The Paper-I consists of General Aptitude Questions and the Paper-II contains questions related to the subject selected by candidates.

Medium of Paper: Candidate can choose the paper medium either Hindi or English. Choice for paper medium can be exercised at the time of filling the form.
Exam Duration: Paper-1 will be of 1 hour while Paper-II will be of 2 hours.
Negative Marking: NTA is not following Negative Marking scheme in UGC NET.

Instructions to Fill NTA UGC NET Online Application Form:
  • To fill the UGC NET 2019 Application Form, candidates first visit the official website that is nta.ac.in and apply against UGC NET 2019.
  • From the home screen appeared hit on “Fill Application Form - NET December 2018” to UGC NET 2019 Apply Online.
  • A new page will come out then along with a dialog box having a tab as “hit here to apply for UGC NET December - 2018”
  • Hit on the link and fill up the online UGC NET 2019 Form
  • After filling up the details in Online Application Form and pay the requisite amounts of application fees and complete all the details given in UGC NET Online Application Form.
  • Upload your scanned photographs and signature according to the size prescribed
  • Afterwards pay the application amount according to your category / Reservation.

NTA UGC NET 2018 Answer Key:

Once the examination is completed the NTA will release the UGC NET Answer Key 2019 approximately after days. With the help of the solution PDF candidates can evaluate their performance that what answers they have given in the examination.
