NABARD Mains Exam Pattern

The mains exam will be divided into 3 papers. Paper I will be descriptive in nature and Paper II and paper III will be MCQ type. The time duration is same for every paper i.e. 90 minutes. For every incorrect answer, 0-25 marks will be deducted.

Paper I:
  • This paper will be of 100 marks and it is descriptive in nature.
  • The exam will conduct for 90 mins and no extra time will be offered to any candidate.
  • Topics like Essay, Précis writing, Comprehension, Report writing, Paragraph writing and Business/Office Correspondence will come in General English paper.
Paper II:
  • This paper consists of 2 sections which are Economic and social issues/ Agricultural and rural development.
  • Multiple Choice questions will be asked in this paper that means you have 4 options for every question and you have to choose only single option.
  • If you select more than one option then your marks will be deducted.
  • Prepare topics like Nature of Indian Economy, Inflation, Population Trends, Positive Discrimination in favour of the under privileged, Classification of field crops, Soil and Water Conservation, Plantation & Horticulture and Agriculture Extensionsto clear this section.
Paper III:
  • The phase III paper will be of 100 marks and includes objective questions type.
