GMAT Entrance Exam is a Computer Based
Test (CBT) and it is the gateway for admission in management programs such as

The Graduate Management Admission Test is a

Tips To Complete Exam On Time

Management Aptitude Test Syllabus:
GMAT is a computer adaptive test which
includes 4 sections. Candidates who are going to appear in GMAT exam need to
check the entire GMAT Syllabus which is given here.

to complete these four sections. The total score out of 800 is only for the

Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA):
Analytical Writing Assessment is the first
and foremost section of GMAT 2019. To complete the first section, candidates
will get total 30 minutes which is an essay writing section. In this section
candidates have to write an analysis of the presented argument and this section
has no set topics.
Analytical Writing Assessment section

Integrated Reasoning (IR):
The second section of GMAT 2019 is known as
Integrated Reasoning (IR). Candidates will have to complete this section in 30
minutes. In June 2012, this section was introduced. Integrated Reasoning (IR)
section has 12 questions with thirty minutes to answer this section.
Integrated Reasoning (IR) measures the
ability and skills of candidates to check the information given in multiple
formats from multiple sources. Integrated Reasoning section tests that how well
candidates can make use of their logical skills to solve a difficult problem.

Verbal Section:
Last section of GMAT is known as Verbal
Section. In GMAT Verbal Section, candidates need to solve 41 verbal questions
in 75 minutes. This section includes various topics:
Reading Comprehension (RC): A
passage will be given to you and you need to answer the questions according to
it. Rather you should be able to…
- Understand the underlying concept of the passage
- Grasp the key idea and the relationship between the various entities involved
- Sort out the useful info from the irrelevant matter
- Identify the key-points that influence, strengthen or weaken the given argument
- You require to be aware and must go into the issue logically and analyze it, go through the options carefully for the decision of choosing best possible option (answer).
- You have to be familiar with the rules of English grammar and choose the answer which seems the best in compliance with standard written English.
- Once done, read it over again to check if the sentence construction looks correct and if the original meaning of the statement has been retained.

- The pattern for GMAT test is given as follows:
- The sections in the exam are namely Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal.
- Analytical Writing Assessment will have 1 topic and 30 minutes will be provided to complete this section.
- Integrated Reasoning consists of 12 questions and the candidates have to complete this section within 30 minutes.
