IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Institute banking personal
Selection RRB, candidates must check the eligible criteria which is mention
below, because basic criteria to applying for IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1/2/3 is
very necessary. Under the eligible criteria, candidates have to fulfill the
requirement related to the nationality/age/Qualification etc.
Nationality:
A candidate must be either –
- a Citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Criteria:
For the Officer
Scale-III (Senior Manager): Candidates should be
at-least 21 years old and should not be more than 40 years to apply for the
Officer scale 3.
For the Officer
Scale-II (Manager): Minimum age for the Manager post
should be 21 years and maximum age must be 32 years.
For the Officer
Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Apply for the Assistant
Manager vacancies candidate’s age must be at-least 18 years and should not be
more than 30 years.
For the Office
Assistant (Multipurpose): Aspirant’s age should be in
between 18 to 28 years to apply for the multipurpose vacancies.
Age Relaxation:
The maximum age limit specified above is
applicable to General Category candidates only. For other categories the
following relaxations would apply:

Application fee for the RRB Application Form:
- For the officer scale-I,II, III: Candies have to pay of Rs. 600/- and those aspirants who belong to SC/ST/PWD will have to pay of Rs. 100/-
- For the Office assistant (Multipurpose): General candidates must pay of Rs. While filling the RRB online application form and Reserved candidates will have to pay of Rs. 100/-
IBPS RRB Selection Process:
- Assortment of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Common Written Examination and Interview.
- The candidates who will qualify in the Common written Examination will be called for a Personality Test.
- Final selection will be done on basis of their performance in Personal Interview.
